"Our last Doctor got shot and we need a new one but we can't find anyone we trust" Giovanni said showing no sign of emotion
"Gio why the fuck would you start off with him dying" Matteo said shaking his head

"Look thank you for the offer but I rather not have a nice night" I said trying to hurry back to my car
"Wait you will get paid very well" Adriana said stepping in front of me

I wake up in a room I don't recognize
No one in sight but I hear voices from outside
I look around to see a bathroom and I spot one and quickly go look in the mirror
The top of my nose was purple with a scar
Under my eyes my bags were also purple and bruised
So whoever hit me hit me hard as fuck I quickly close the bathroom door when I hear the bedroom door open
"I'm sorry for my cousin Leo thats his only way of stopping people" I hear Adriana from the other side of the door
"We just wanted to talk to you why did you keep running"
"BECAUSE LAST TIME I SAW THEM I HAD TO REMOVE A FUCKING BULLET FROM SOMEONE"

"I understand but why won't you take the job you get to live here rent free and all you have to do is what you already know"

She kisses her teeth and tells me to at least take a shower to which I agree to

They gave me some grey sweat pants and a plain white shirt to wear and some slides
And a bag to put my dirty clothes in
Adriana told me once I was done I can just come downstairs so I got my phone off the charger someone put it on
Then I go downstairs where I'm met with tall men in black suits everywhere speaking in a different language
"QUINN" Matteo says jumping up to hug me
"Sorry about your head again and sorry my Leo punched you in the face"
"Where is he"
"Oh he's right ther-" before he could finish I head over to the man Leo who punched me in my face
And I kick him right in the balls
"I don't know who the fuck your think you are but I didn't put my hands on you so don't your hands on me"
"Why would you do tha-" Matteo says right before I kick him the same way
"You to asshole"
I clear my throat "Ok Adriana I'm really ready now let's go"
As the two men groan in pain and Adriana almost dies from laughter I look over to see Giovanni grinning before he quickly switch's back to his emotionless face

It's been 30 minutes and Adriana is still laughing
