Chapter33: Another sort of Catfish

Start from the beginning

Looking between the two of me and Stephanie when asking in a clear and calm raging tone, "Am I clear?"

"Yes, Mrs Robertson." Both of us answered before she excused practice, I couldn't stay in the same room as Stephanie, not when my mind was screaming at me to trickle her to the ground, to break her nose even further.
She told everyone some story that she fought off some guy who tried raping her on the campus ground, not wanting anyone to know that the girl she picks on broke it when using her Mom's past to bring her down.

Grabbing my bag, walking out of the studio as fast as I could after telling Daytona, Kevin and Janelle that I needed some space to let off some steam. When I was halfway down the direction of the Dorm Building, Stephanie decided to step in front of me, smiling at me with that snake smile of hers, "You know, for someone who can't dance as half good as I do, you make a great actress. Maybe there's space for you in the drama club."

"Go choke on someone's spit." I snapped at her, knocking her shoulder walking past her. But that didn't stop her from stepping in front of me, forcing me to stop. Staring deep into her eyes when she said, "Try loosen up, Jennifer. I'm sure you can come up with something half bad as what you've shown to Mrs Robertson today."

She was speaking to me with this tone of voice that sounds like she was trying to comfort me, make me feel better when really she was just mocking me and what had happened. And that was just making me become more upset, because she had just robbed me of my childhood dream.

"How did you know about my dance when we're never in each other's company?" I demanded an answer, not holding back on the bite in voice. Not wanting to, because I was far from being angry and wasn't close to being calm and still anymore.

Casually shagging her shoulders, as if she wasn't frightened that I could easily snap and do all of the things that I so badly want to do to Stephanie, "Well, I was just walking through the building when I've remembered that I had to email to professor about something. And not having my phone or laptop anywhere near me, David was so kind enough to let me borrow his and by some 'mistake' sent a video to my phone."

My blood grew cold when I heard the words, David, phone and video in that sentence, because those things shouldn't be part of it in the first place. I shouldn't be having this conversation with Stephanie nor should I have to think of a new choreography that isn't stolen from anyone else.
My throat felt like dry paper and my blood was boiling lava, Stephanie just kept on smiling at me, enjoying every minute of this reaction.

"Guess his mind was too busy admiring true talent that he figured that I could turn some sloppy work into something magnificent." Grinning like a snake, Stephanie walked away, leaving me standing there stunned before finally being able to walk again.
In some twisted, sick way I felt like I had just been Catfish in some way, having my solo given to the leopard snake who has no shame stealing it.

Watching her dance the first part of my choreography caused me wanting to vomit, it was like someone reached down my throat and started squeezing my guts painfully tight. Mrs Robertson gave me another chance to change everything that I've worked so hard on, so that our team doesn't have to suffer missing out on an important competition that's part of its history.

Walking like I was chasing down the devil while feeling the wrath of him bursting through my body. I was about to break someone's neck before burying him down a hole that's six multiple by two deep as I walked through the boys changing room at the soccer stadium.
Ignoring the screaming and angry faces from all of the players as if they've never done the same thing whenever they wanna see the girls in anything less than their sports clothes.

Within five seconds I found the player who I was looking for, he was half naked in his black underwear. Shocked to see me at first before smirking towards me, "Couldn't wait until after training to see me, Ariel."
