Chapter33: Another sort of Catfish

Start from the beginning

Thankfully today isn't that today, quickly thinking, I calmly said while trying to control my voice, "Two weeks ago, Stephanie asked me to come speak to you and Julia about giving the female solo performance to her, because it's her dream just as much as mine. I said no and we never spoke about it again.
I couldn't come up with anything for the performance until Monday night, Stephanie was watching and helped me with some of the moves. I never thought that she was going to do it today."

"You're lying!" Stephanie snarled violently towards me, slightly turning to Mrs Robertson and Julia. Her arms extended in protest, probably wasn't expecting me to reveal our little chat two weeks ago. "She's lying, Mrs Robertson. Bevan and I were practicing our dance last night when we caught Jennifer watching us through the window, promising that she wasn't shying on us. That she has a solo better than anyone else's, she should be kicked out."

My hands were burning to beat her teeth out before ringing Stephanie's throat until her head popped off from her shoulders. Nothing will make me feel better than to do just that. Image after image, I had pictures of how I'll make this little snake beg for mercy from me, if we weren't in this room right now, standing in front our mentors.

Julia was the one who spoke when Mrs Robertson hadn't, "Stephanie, since last year, you've been letting others 'steal' your choreography's, claiming that you're the innocent victim. How do we all know that this isn't another game of yours to get a chance to have another best female soloist award for Spotlight again?"

After hearing Julia speak about this proven that this isn't the first time that Stephanie has been stealing others choreographies, claiming them as her own. And somehow she managed to get her way to performing a solo for Sapphire at Spotlight, if she had gotten a reward for it.

A leopard can't change its spots, not even a snake one for that. She's truly a snake, acting innocent when knowing deep down that she isn't the slightest. I don't know who are girls or guys that she have stolen choreography's from, but there's no way I'm gonna let Stephanie end up having mine, come hell or high water.

Gaping out of shock which sounded too much and dramatic, even for Stephanie, "Julia, I would never steal from anyone in Sapphire, I mean, we're a family." Oh, don't do that. That's the most insulting thing you couldn't ever say.

Behind me, I heard someone softly scoff under their breath while others silently agreed with them, giving me more reasons to believe that Stephanie is practically lying through her teeth at this point.
Causing me to focus on my breathing, stopping myself from huffing so much that Daytona had to hold my hand tight to keep me just in case. Before Stephanie could say anything further, Mrs Robertson finally spoke,

"In Sapphire, everyone is given is given the ability to grow and have their talent to develop into something greater and remarkable than it had been before. If you're not capable or willing to let me and Julia to teach you how to be cultivate with these abilities in the world of dance, then you are wasting your time as much as ours. We are not babysitters and we will not become any."

She was speaking to everyone instead of just between me and Stephanie, causing each one of them to straighten up and take her word to heart. Afraid that they would upset Mrs Robertson if they don't, "If this happened at Spotlight, Sapphire and KAU will not be allowed to foretake in its competition as long as its deportment sees fit."

Which will not only drag this school's good name and status through the mud, but will also ruin the reputation of this great dance group. Therefore, Mrs Hawkins has until Friday to come up with another choreography different to Ms De Tort and Mr Hausman's. If there's any repeat of this during the rest of this week, neither of you's will not be allowed to partake in any activities regarding Sapphire or Spotlight."
