I was eating Stephanie's confusion to my comeback while those who has been watching the conversation between us were laughing under their breath, having their childhood rush back to them as much as it was for me in that moment.
"What the hell was that?" Stephanie crossed her arms, getting more annoyed when I repeat the action again for at least six times before she snapped, "What are you saying?"
Rachel cleared her throat while Billy was trying to hide his smile and laugh from us, "It's a Camp Rock thing, Stephanie. Jennifer was saying, 'Whatever Major Loser', she doesn't really mean it."
"Nah, I definitely meant it." I corrected our team's caption while enjoying Stephanie turn even redder than before, giving myself big points after letting her win Tuesday.
It might be a cheap shot that I was taking from her, but seeing that smile of hers wrapped off her face was totally worth it. "Guess your childhood sucked even more than your life after high school does."
After saying that, most people who couldn't keep their laughter under control lost it completely for the burn that Stephanie got. The fact that she doesn't know about one of the Disney movies that was basically seen as the golden days of childhood during the 2000s is so sad.
Yet it felt so good bursting her bubble and getting under her skin, causing me to smile wider as she walks back to her seat.
Turning back to looking out of the window, three minutes later, Billy sat down in the empty seat beside me, nudging my shoulder with his, so that I could take one of my earphones out of my ear, "So, are we up for another surprise from you today, Jennifer?"
Shrugging my shoulder at the question with a casual smile, "Maybe, maybe not. Why?"
Keeping his movement as casual as my smile when he shrugged, "Well, Tuesday we find out that your solo is the same choreography as Stephanie which was something that's not a good thing. If I knew someone in the group has the same choreography as mine, I would be pretty stressed out, yet you don't seemed to be stressing over anything. Which means that you have something up your sleeves that I bet no one knows of yet."
Tailing my head to the side, raising an eyebrow at Billy before saying teasingly, "Never thought you to be a guy who likes to observe things."
Lightly laughing for what I've said before shaking his head, "No, I'm not an observant, trust me. Most times, Rachel's the one to point things out for me whenever I can't see the obvious."
Nodding my head before noticing his phone screen having a black and white album cover of Drake, "Listening to 'Don't Matter To Me'? Interesting song choice."
"At least it's not 'In My Feelings', Tik Tok has ruin that song for me." Billy said while pulling his face in slightly irritation which I don't blame him. Not gonna lie, I actually enjoy the song when I first heard it until every radio station and parties started playing it on repeat while almost every person was doing the dance challenge on Tik Tok.
Nudging my shoulder again, in a teasing way, "What are you listening to, huh?"
Nudging his shoulder back before handing my phone over to him, letting him see the song that I had on pause since Stephanie came to talk to me. The drive from campus to the city centre was an one hour and a half drive which we were half way through before reaching the place, "Ah, 'Bastille Feature Alessia Cara 'Another Place'. Are you gonna dance on this song?"
I would like to do a choreography on the song, it's a pretty dope song. If I'm lucky enough I'll keep it in mind, if not for Sapphire, maybe for Swag Crew, it's been a while since me and Steve has created a choreography for the crew, "Maybe next time, today I have something else in plan for today."
Billy raised an eyebrow towards me, giving a gentle smile when asking, "So, what exactly is your solo?"
Smirking at him, kinda enjoying having people wondering what my solo might be, "Sorry Billy. You just have to find out like everyone else."
