"So let me get this straight, you think you saw Atlas last night.." Caroline started
"Yes" Athena nodded
"And you think he is connected to your dreams"
"Mhmm"
"And you think he is a link to Kol"
"Yup" Athena smiled
Caroline nodded before raising her voice, "Are you crazy?!"
Athenas mouth dropped in shock at her out burst, "W-What?"
"Look, maybe you were seeing things. Maybe that wasn't Atlas, maybe it was someone else that looked like Atlas" Caroline rambled and Athena went to open her mouth but Caroline cut her off, "And how do you even know he is a link to Kol. How do you know Kol is alive... How do you know they even know each other"
Athena looked down at her hands. She didn't know how to explain it. It was hard to say that Kol was alive because there were some moments where she felt that he was alive, almost like he was right next to her. But there were some moments she felt darkness around her, she felt death being imbedded in her skin, telling her that what she feared
Caroline noticed her silence and stopped rambling. She looked at Athena and immediately felt guilty for raising her voice and opened it to apologize but was cut off as Athena spoke up
"I don't know if Kol is dead and I don't know if he is alive" Athena said, "There are moments during the day where I can just feel him around me, like he is right next to me. There are other moments where I feel broken inside but it isn't because of me... it's because of him" Athena looked up at Caroline to see her thinking, "Does that make any sense?"
