"harry" Ayla said.

"harry? why" he asked me.

"why did he want to hang out with me now?"

"what do you mean?" he asked.

"we all have known him since 1st grade. Why now," Ella said.

"wait that suspicious," Flynn said.

"And you two never got along with each other," Ayla said.

"you should stay away from him,"

"well no shit, we have been talking about it," I said.

"Anyway, forget about him we are going on a trip."

"who's we?"

"all seniors," Flynn said.

"where?" I asked.

"we dont know yet I think today they will tell us or tomorrow," Flynn said.

"Where are the others, though?" Ella asked.

"football practice,"

"why aren't you with them?"

"I practiced yesterday I want to eat in peace, not play with some ball at lunch,"

"well I have to go," I said as I got up and went to Alexander's locker to give him his jacket back.

"heres your jacket I washed it," I said and pulled out his jacket.

"thank you" he took it and put it in his locker. I turned around.

"wait did you know why the door was locked?" he asked.

"a girl was helping her friend with her relationship,"

"oh weird," he said, and I nodded and went away.

'that conversation was awkward'

LATER THAT DAY

I heard a knock on my bedroom door as I laid down on my bed.

"what" I said as Kai entered.

I waited for a few seconds for him to say anything. but he just stood there.

'um hello?'

"what do you want?" I asked Kai, who just rolled his eyes and went out.

leaving the door open.

'why can't they just close the door'

"Kai, close the door."

"why do you need to close the door, huh?" Kai asked me.

"why wouldn't I?"

"you are suspicious,"

'I just want to continue reading that story'

"just close the door behind you," I said.

"no" Kai said as he turned and left.

'that asshole'

I got up and closed the door, then laid down.

after five minutes, my mom came in.

"the dinner is going to be ready in five minutes I want you to be down in less than five minutes," she said and left and she left the door open.

'why can't they close the door behind them'

at the dinner table

"tomorrow we are having a barbecue with the Adams," my mom said.
