" don't get killed on me " she said looking up to meet my gaze

I never expected this reaction from her

I expected her to scream run do anything but this and here she was the love of my life sitting in my lap concerned about me when I told her about my Mafia life

" promise me " she whispered leaning her forehead against mine

" I promise " I said softly as I pulled her into a kiss

The instructor made he's way over smiling at me making me nod signalling we were ready once the music started we did the steps slowly

" ow " the instructor yelped as we stepped back
