Chapter 3 : Mother dearest

Arabellas POV
We walked in and sat at the bar it was a while before anyone said anything

I just talked with Steph I kept looking around because I felt like someone was staring at me but I couldn't see anyone so I just ignored it

" Hello everyone I'm Craig and I'm gonna be sectioning you off line up and tell me what job you want so we can manage everything better " he sat down behind a table and everyone gathered around it was about ten minutes till we got to the table

" Name " Craig spoke

" Arabella Rivers and I'd like either the bartender job or the stripper job " I said as the man looked up from the sheet he smiled at me

He was about to say something until a man came over to him and handed him some files and then spoke in he's ear

" wait here Arabella " Craig smiled and walked
up to some spiral stairs

Around 10 minutes later he came back

" so Arabella about the bar tending job what days can you work and what times " he said casually

" I can do whatever I'm really not that busy " I smiled

" perfect here write down your number here and I'll let you know what the story is I'll say you'll be working Monday Wednesday Friday and Saturday but I'll let you know for sure tomorrow morning " he spoke while I wrote my number down

" thank you " I smiled as I walked off to meet Steph back at the bar

she was talking to 2 fellas who looked in there early 20s but they were mainly chatting her up

" Steph you ready to go? " I questioned checking my phone at the time

" hey Steph who's your friend " the dirty blonde fella spoke I looked up and he smirked at me

" hey I'm cash " he said while he kissed my hand

" Arabella " I said while I tugged my hand away

" your friend seems feisty " the fella with dark brown hair said while he looked me up and down

" ya well that's Arabella for you anyway see you around boys we gotta go " Steph said getting off her chair and linking our arms we walked out to the car and got in

" my house or yours? " she spoke while speeding off I wanted to go hers but then again I need clean the house for when the twins came home

" mine I gotta clean the place before the twins get back from preschool " I said while tying my hair back

" you should leave your hair down more often all the boys were checking you out " I didn't even have to look at her to know she was smirking at me

" ya right nobody was checking me out Steph and even if they were no one wants someone who's raising two kids that aren't even hers on her own " I sighed while looking out the window

" Bella any guy would be lucky to have you , we just gotta find you the right one and who wouldn't love the twins there adorable " she smiled

" did I tell you there teacher thought I was there mother today like people think I'm there mom and everything I mean I might as well be tho like I haven't see her in weeks I think I might get full custody of them and when I have enough buy a place for us you know " I said I looked over the see her smiling

" it sounds stupid doesn't it " I said sighing while looking back out

" no I'm just thinking about when you have your own kids they're gonna be so lucky to have a mamma bear like you " she smiled as the car came to a stop and we got out I looked up to see the door open fuck sake
