Prologue

I tried to run but he was faster. I tried to pull away but he was stronger. I was left struggling hopelessly and screaming as he wrapped his arms around my waist and lifted me into the air. Half way between laughing and screaming I was trying to get out of his hold. He laughed as he watched my struggle, throwing my over the edge of the couch to land in the middle of the bed. At first I sat there laughing, laughing so hard that water ran down my cheeks and my stomach started to hurt. I laughed until he jumped over the back of the coach to land beside me. It gave me so much of a start that I gave a little girly scream. I ducked in time for him to miss my head as he jumped over the back of the jump himself, landing elegantly on his back. The couched shifted under the extra weight but I trusted it, the couch won't pull up from underneath us.
