When I was down deep thinking....worried about the same. My fate struck, as my phone rung.....using a replacement phone until my phone's screen was getting repaired......Grace's call.
Grace – Good day!
Me – Oh, yeah, hello. How's all going for you?
Grace – Having a great day today! Had an early morning surgery....successful!
Me – Wow. I am happy for you!
Grace – Well, then take me on a date today.
Me – Uh....i am currently out of station. In another state for an investigation.
Grace – Oh, Rachel's case?
Me – Yeah.
Grace – So where you currently are then?
Me – Pittsburgh city.
Grace – Oh, and return back till evening?
Me – Most probably yes. We'll have to return before 6PM as our orders say. So.....there are still a few chances that I might get a chance of date.
Grace – I'll be eager for your call.
Me – Yup.....yeah. Well, just a moment. Hell, getting a call from my senior. I'll call you in a moment.
Lt. Col. Knity – Jason.
Me – Yeah ma'am.
Lt. Col. Knity – WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU TWO!
Me – Uh.....Pittsburgh, ma'am.
Lt. Col. Knity – You were supposed to put up update every hour if you haven't forgotten. THE HELL HOW YOU CAN FORGET IT!
Me – My apologies, ma'am. We actually weren't able to find any clues for the investigation.
Lt. Col. Knity – And then what were you 3 doing since last few hours then?
Me – Uh...We were just....
Lt. Col. Knity - *interrupting me. GET BACK TO OHIO RIGHT NOW. THIS IS YOUR EMERGENCY ORDER.
Me – Copy affirmative....ma'am.
I had to rush back all the way to home. Inform to Reece.....whose phone was busy with Rachel for mobile games? Yeah and that's when we realized that she was declining all calls. Damn.....we are dead. REAL DEAD! We packed up within minutes and just rushed towards the airport from the cab meanwhile we didn't get enough time for a proper goodbye with Reece's parents. Because here....for very good reasons our superiors are far beyond angry on us. Passing through customs and security checks of the airport with an emergency ticket.....Rachel was giving a lots of problems to me with her lacking identity details....currently only termed with Elite Police department.....DAMN! We are here on the verge of dying out. For real, I was never so scared of my superiors than I am scared now because....they are going to kill us out....they are going to tear our souls apart today.
Reaching back to our city, we had.....no Elite Police escort waiting, but rather there were 2 SUVs looking more of Federal units. We were wrong.....it's.....Faulkner. WHAT!
I had no other option than going to him and asking about what's with this arrangement. Yeah.
Me – What's all this Mr. Faulkner?
