Mads POV
We finally got to California after a long car ride. When I got out of the car I noticed 2 boys walking with my cousin. One was tall, tan, and had hazel eyes.
Bennys POV
Smalls, Ham, and I we're walking home from the sandlot when I saw a beautiful girl who is tall, tan and has hazel eyes. As I was walking to introduce myself smalls said
S- "mads" he went running towards her. " hey guys this is my cousin, mads".
Oh my gosh that smalls' cousin.
M- "hi"
S- " this is ham" he pointed to a small redhead. " this is Benny" he pointed to the tall brunette.
B- "hey I'm Benny I live across the street".
H- " I'm Hamilton porter but you can call me ham" " I have to leave, I'll see you tomorrow"
B- "hey, we're playing baseball tomorrow if you want to come. Be ready by 9 and I'll pick you up.
I nodded and he left.
S- " mads you were shaking Benny's hand for a while"
M- " really I was I didn't notice." I totally did.
S-" yeah it's almost as if you like him".
I didn't say anything but he gasped.
S- " you like him"
M- " maybe a little".
He looked at me with a smirk
M-" ok maybe a lot"
S- " really I think he likes you to".
M- "how do you know"
S- " when Benny stops talking and stares at you that means he likes you." " OK well I got to go home I'll see you tomorrow bye."
M- "bye"
I went upstairs to unpack a little but instead I fell asleep.
