After some non-tear goodbyes with my parents- we were finally at the airport
I take Lev's hand in mine "you know this is the first time we are traveling together" I swing our hand between us
He looked down "wow that's crazy thinking how much we've traveled in the last months" I nod
Since all my stuff was already shipped- I only had a tiny bag with essentials and Lev's suitcase. I took out my AirPods and offered one to lev
"Please no Taylor swift" he pleaded
I gasp dramatically "repeat that and you'll be sleeping on the couch" I threatened
He rolled his eyes but bit his lips to stop his smile. I did the same. Now it was weighing down on me
I WAS MOVING IN WITH LEV! WE WERE GONNA LIVE TOGETHER!!
"Fine I'll play some podcasts" he sighed in relief and nodded
I rolled my eyes and played my fav podcast- 'What We Said' hosted by Jaci Marie and Chelsey Curtis. I played the 'How we met stories' episode because I listened to half of it and was laughing so hard.
I started it from the start for lev while we waited for our flight. He seemed to enjoy it. From time to time I would 'aww' on some cute story about how a couple met.
Lev was laughing with me. Soon we made it into business class but I let the podcast keep playing and turned on airplane mode on my phone
Once we were seated and in mid-air- the episode ended and I turned to lev
"What did you think of it?" I asked
He nodded. "It was funny." I grinned excitedly
Finally, someone who would listen to podcasts with me
He smiled and pecked my lips. "Do you wanna listen to another episode ?"
He nodded and I quickly put the 'are you smarter than a 5th grader' episode. I love this one because it included their husbands and they were hilarious
Soon after listening to some music (Taylor swift hehe), we both fell asleep and I realized at that moment how happy I was from almost 6 months ago when I was flying out to NY
Then I realize- it was almost lev and i's 6 months together
