Neymar's POV.

I started running down the hallway to Olivia's room. I didn't even bother knocking, I tried to open the door. It was locked.

"Olivia? Olivia, are you there?" I asked. Silence. She couldn't have been inside, she'd have opened the door for me, why wouldn't she? She wasn't in the compound, I told myself. She'd have come for dinner, I'd have seen her in the game room, somewhere. I searched every room of the building, went outside to the fields and the pond and the kiosk but she was nowhere. I called her again and again but her phone was still switched off.

Marina must be wrong, I told myself. I dialed David's number again and Marina picked up right away.

"You found her?" She asked me.

"No! She isn't here! I've looked everywhere!"

"She isn't with us!"

"Are you sure? Maybe she rode in someone else's car, maybe you didn't see her!" I yelled for Marina to hear me.

"No..." She said and the music died down a bit. She must have gone outside, I realized. "Neymar she texted she wouldn't come."

"What? Why?"

"I don't know! Listen, I'm going back inside, I'll ask everyone and if I find out anything I'll call you back, okay?"

I went back to her room and knocked on the door again. Nothing. I passed by Dante on the hall, he hadn't seen her since the afternoon. I went back to my room, maybe she went there to look for me. Nothing, nothing, nothing. My phone started ringing again and I almost dropped it, trying to open it.

"Yes?" I asked right away.

"Neymar, it's Thiago here."

"Thiago, is she with you?" I asked him.

"No, she isn't here. But I saw her earlier." He said hesitantly.

"Earlier, where?"

"Outside your room."

"My room? Olivia didn't come to my room today."

"She was outside. She... She asked me not to tell anyone she was there."

"Why?" I asked. "When was this?"

"Right before we left for Rio."

"If you find out anything call me." I said, closing the phone. I took a deep breath trying to piece the events of earlier together. I went back to my room after practice, had a shower, then David came. He left, I stayed there for a while and then went to dinner with my father.

Olivia never came inside. But she was there. Why was she there and didn't come inside? Why would she ask Thiago to never say she was there? Why didn't she want me to know she came looking for me?

I tried to find something in her behavior that should have tipped me off. Nothing. I was really starting to worry now since it was getting late. I hated the thought of her out there alone. Because she had to be, she wasn't here and she wasn't with the others. Where the hell was she?

I went outside again and walked all the way down to the gate. I sat on the grass waiting. I felt stupid. Maybe I should go tell someone she was missing. She isn't missing, you idiot. She left. I told myself.

I don't know how much time had passed until I saw lights approaching. I got up and stood on the side of the gate to let the cars pass by and then I ran towards the parking lot.

I saw Thiago first and ran towards him. He shook his head the moment he saw me. "She wasn't with us. We asked everyone." He told me.

David got out of the car, his face was serious now. He had sobered up. "What happened?" He asked me as Marcelo, Hulk and Oscar gathered around us.
