Winter is getting concious because of the pair of puppy eyes staring at her eversince earlier. She wanted to lash out on Karina and tell her to stop staring but she doesn't want to make a scene, besides they are in the middle of class.
"Is it just me or there's some sexual tension going on between those two?" Ningning asked, biting her fingers.
Giselle let out low chuckles, "I thought you wouldn't notice," she replied
"Karina seemed to be interested in Winter more," Ningning whispered back
"She's in denial towards her feelings, I definitely know when something's up with Karina, and I'm not going to be wrong about my conclusion." Giselle smirked, biting the tip of the pen as her eyes landed on the two love birds beside her
"Can you freaking stop? What do you want?" Winter irritatedly asked, taking her eyeglasses off to massage the bridge of her nose.
Karina was stunned by her beauty for a second as she snapped back into reality.
"I was just wondering if you would want to hang out with us later after school?" Karina pursed her lips
"Really? You've been staring at me since earlier just because of that?" Winter scoffed
"No, I was staring at you because you're an eye candy." Karina clarified
Winter bit the insides of her cheeks to stop herself from smiling, she doesn't understand herself well. She thought she hated her, yet sometimes she feels warm and fuzzy with her and would just think Karina is a baby inside an adult's body
"It's not like I have a choice," Winter replied, nonchalantly.
"That's a yes then!" Karina excitedly fists her hand
"It's still so strange, how you suddenly paid attention to me when all we do back then was to ignore each other." Winter whispered
Karina frozed, "I-it's nothing really, I just wanted to be friends with you. You look charming and straight forward type of person, I liked your aura." She smiled genuinely
"Whatever, you'll get tired soon." Winter sighed
"Let's see," Karina smirked, sounding a little like she wanted to pick a fight
"Hey you two! Stand up and stand outside! I've been observing you since earlier and you didn't do anything but to talk to each other! What are you? Elementary students?! You're in your college years, shouldn't you be taking this seriously?!" The professor snapped at them
Karina and Winter stood up wearing their famous pokerface, they obeyed without whining or saying something.
The professor told them to squat until the class ends which will be 40 minutes from now by the way.
"Said we're acting like kids and here he goes making us squat instead of telling us to go to detention," Winter pouted
"Aww, you're so cute. Do it again!" Karina smiled widely
Even if they're having a hard time squatting the girl just never misses a chance to flirt with Winter.
Minutes later they were also joined by Giselle and Ningning.
"What did you two do?" Winter asked
"I bet Giselle did something so she would be with us, I know that bitch she have some schemes when it comes to this!" Karina sneered
Giselle laughed, "Do you guys always get punishments before you transferred in our class?" Winter curiously asked
"Yeah, mostly because of our friends. They are troublemakers," Karina replied, sighing as she breathed heavily.
"Ningning what did you do?" Winter took a glance at the girl
"Giselle made a fuss and I got included with the mess all of a sudden," Ningning pouted
"As expected, Giselle loves to include someone in her own mess so she wouldn't suffer alone." Karina giggled, slowly getting weak because her legs are already cramping
"Hey! At least we're all together now," Giselle laughed
"Mom will get mad at me for sure, ugh. I knew being with you two will only cause me problems." Winter whined
"Don't lie, this is thrilling right?" Giselle insisted
Winter didn't reply.
....
After the class ends, the girls exhaustedly rested to regain their energy. Only their breathing can be heard in the quiet classroom, everybody left except them.
"I'm cursing that professor! If only he's not boring I would've listen to him," Karina let out an exasperated sigh
"Even if he's not boring you still wouldn't pay attention, bitch stop lying!" Giselle retorted
"Shut up!" Karina hissed
Ningning and Winter remained quiet. Sweats dripping off their forehead and neck. Winter looked for her towel as she handed it to Ningning.
"How about me?" Karina whined when Winter didn't gave her anything
"Shut up, Ningning gets sweaty easily, and you still look fresh so I don't think you needed it." Winter shut her eyes tightly
"Is that a compliment? Well, thank you." Karina proudly spoke
"Stand up yall, let's go to a near cafe I'll buy you guys a drink," Giselle stood up, walking sideways probably because her legs are shaking and weak
"God you walk terrible!" Karina joked
"Shut up!"
They stopped bickering when Karina's phone beeped multiple times. She took it with an irritated expression in her face, then it changed to a serious one. Her eyes grew darker.
"You guys go without me, I'll just handle some things." Karina looked so serious so the others thought it was something important
"Do you think she'll be fine?" Winter asked out loud
"Ooh, are you concerned with Jimin's whereabouts?" Giselle teased
Ningning laughed.
"Shut it!" Winter hissed
"Come on, since it will just be three of us, let's go shopping as well!" Giselle clapped her hands enthusiastically
Winter and Ningning had no other choice, it's not like they had a choice in the first place. They're always getting dragged without even agreeing to it first, and little by little they're slowly getting used to it.
Winter is slowly reconsidering, being around Karina and Giselle's company wasn't bad afterall.
