➽Chapter 1

Rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand while stepping out of his jail cell was non-other than L/N Y/n.

"You've got yourself some visitors." The grumpy old man police said while showing off his stick that he can clearly break in half if he wanted to

He felt his wrist being tugged down and being handcuffed, the same police forcefully pushed him to the meeting room

He sat on the chair without lifting his head up to meet the persons eyes

"L/N-kun.." The person called

Once he looked up his eyes widened a bit, there right in front of him sat Hanagaki Takemichi and behind him was someone he doesn't kno-

"My name is Tachibana Naoto." the person said

"What.. Happened?" Takemichi asked, his voice filled with worries and confusion

"Police didn't believed that I dropped kicked a child for self defense." Y/n chuckled dryly at his humour

Takemichi pursed his lips as he gulps unknowingly, his fingers fidgeting with the end of his shirt as his legs began to tremble lightly.

Naoto noticed this and placed a reassuring hand ontop of Takemichi's shoulder

"How's mikey?" Y/n asked smiling lightly

"Y-you didn't know?" Takemichi asked frowning, Y/n shakes his head while pouting his lips

"The Tokyo Manji gang has become a criminal gan-"

Bang!

Takemichi and Naoto both jumped when Y/n slammed both his hand on the desk while glaring at them

"Since when?!" He asked growling

"I-I.. D-dont know.. That's why.. Where here to ask you if you know something about it" Takemichi said while shaking slightly

I mean who wouldn't be scared? Right in front of them was the one who used to be the leader of a gang in the whole Japan not just by district but the entire country itself

"Pipsqueak, I've been in jail for 12 years.. How the fuck will I know?" Y/n said sighing as he went back to his chair

12 years?

Takemichi glanced at Naoto and the two made eye contact as if they're conversing through their eyes

"that dumbass, I kept telling him to join my gang in order to make it more bigger but he kept refusing." Y/n said while checking his nails

"L/N-kun.. Can you tell me why were you arrested?" Takemichi asked

"Even if I tell you, you won't change the past so what's the point?" Y/n asked looking at Takemichi's eyes

"Please.." Takemichi begged

He wanted to know the truth, he wanted to save everyone and that includes Y/n as well.

"Got arrested for killing half of the Moebius gang during a dispute." Y/n said calmly

"W-when did it happened?" Takemichi asked starting to sound desperate

"I can't remember it really well, but it's probably somewhere between August 2 or August 3 I guess.." Y/n said shrugging

Takemichi was about to say something when the police man came and told them that it's already times up

"It was nice seeing you here, Takemichi.." Y/n said smiling

"Mikey's last visit was on July 4th, can you tell him to visit me before September 5th? Cause the day after that I'll be probably dead by now." Y/n said before leaving the room entirely

Takemichi stood up and clenched his fist.

"Naoto, we need to save him too.." Takemichi said not looking away from the door Y/n just entered

"Takemichi, I found something." Naoto said while typing on his keyboard

Takemichi hurriedly went beside him to read what's on the screen and to listen to what Naoto is about to say

"On August 3rd, was the exact same day as Draken died and Y/n got arrested.. Remember that Takemichi." Naoto said turning to look at the older male beside him who's eyebrows furrowed

"More than thirty people died that day, all of them are from Moebius.. They were killed by-" Naoto furrowed his brows as he scrolled down the article

"There's no name in it, it just says that they were killed by a group of gangsters." Naoto said clicking on a picture and it shows multiple body lying in the ground along with other gangsters wearing Black robes and their white oni mask

Each individual was holding a katana, but what stood out the most was the person wearing a white yukata and a Kistune mask while standing in the middle of the dead bodies

"Is that.." Takemichi started while pointing at the screen

"Yeah that's him." Naoto nodded

The person standing in the middle of the bodies was the same exact person they talked to earlier
