SCP (Part 8): ZK Class Scenario (Part 1)

Chapter 1

"Alright! Everyone enough chit chat. I called you in for a reason. It's a urgent reason too... I'm talking a potential XK scenario..." That's what quieted them all down.

"What's the deal sir?" Yousef asked me.

"Scp 079. It has breached the facility and the entire site is flooded with creatures. All anomalies have been breached, it is believed that the scp's haven't breached thanks to Adam's system working on them. However the system will not work for long and it'll be deactivated within 24 hours. We only have a few hours. Around 12 or 10 hours. We have to shut off 079 and recontain the anomalies as safe as possible."

"Um... do we all have to go?" Daniela asked me.

"Yes, of course you all have to go."

"Crap, I have something scheduled with the family tommorow... wonder how I'll break this to her..." Match said, worried.

"Doctor, theres something I want to discuss with you after the meeting." Emily told me.

"Alright then. Now, is everyone ready? We'll leave tommorow morning." I asked.

"Very well then. Now, I'm gonna go sleep now- if you will." Yousef said. Then I look as all the people logged out. Then it was just me and Emily by the end.

"So... you wanted to tell me something?" I asked her.

"Yes- its about... um." I could tell she was nervous about something, thought I didn't know what it was. I wish I had known right then and there. But I had ignored her. "Nevermind..."

"Oh, alright. Well I'm gonna go now. So, goodnight." I then left the meeting.  I stared out the window as the moonlight shined through my window and onto my face. I felt as if something was coming, although I didnt know what it was. This would be my last mission in the foundation before I retire and choose the next founder.

I got up out of my chair and walked towards my bed. Then I layed down, with my arms out and open; as I went asleep I thought about my life in the foundation. How many new people I've met, how I've influenced the world. All of it. Then I closed my eyes as I dazed out looking at the popcorn ceiling, then I fell asleep.

"Is everyone here? We've got to do this quick!" Mars said as we all met outside the airport that'll take us to Site 000. Then suddenly a car pulled up. Match exited the car and was followed by a women.

"Please! I have to go! It's important!" Match said to the women.

"Match... please.." The women began to cry. "Dont leave us for long... and please come back- alive and safe." She said.

"Honey, I promise. I'll never leave you like that. And it'll be fine. It's just a small buisness trip." Match said. Then he turned and walked away. The lady went back into the car and drove off.

"Was that you're wife? I've never seen her or your kids actually..." Yousef asked.

"Yes, shes worried. Shes always worried about me. But I assured her I'll make it out alive and well." Match said. I could tell he was a bit worried.

"Come on, we have to go now!" Veronica said, she was already ahead of us. We all then walked towards the building. We entered and immediately the whole room looked at us.

"Psst, Doctor. Do they know were O5?" Daniela whispered.

"Yes. But dont worry. This is my last mission. After this I'm retiring." I said.

"What? Are you serious? You cant be... your the administrator damn it!" Emily said out loud- maybe too loud. "Oop... sorry." She said.

"Are you really going to retire?" Yousef asked.
