I shut my front door, drop my bag on the floor and flop down on my couch.
I hear footsteps coming from the bedroom, I look up to see my boyfriend over the couch "Hey, how did your doctor's appointment go?" He asks happily "Not so well, Octane.."I say sadly "Oh no, tell me what happened" He says all worried as he siting on the couch near my feet "The cancer is back and my Depression is taking a toll of me.."I say sounding like I am on the verge of tears.
I hear him let out a sad sigh and then he makes me sit in his lap and hug him "I was doing so well.." I say now sobbing into his neck "I know baby, but we can do it again! I promise that you will get through this and I will be right beside you the whole way! Imagine the stories you get to tell when you beat it?!" He says happily trying to cheer me up.
I giggle and wipe some tears away "Now go get some rest, I will be right next to you when you wake up" he says before kissing my forehead, taking me to our sheared bedroom and tucking me in.
He lays down next to me and I cuddle into his side "Goodnight baby" "Goodnight Octane" I say with a smile on my face
