Tonight we're playing Spain at the KJ2 stadium in LA.

KJ2 stadium is the name we decided on for the name of Atlético Los Angeles' stadium.

We named it that since the owners of Atlético Los Angeles are myself, Jackie, Kyra, and Jordyn.

"WE'RE HERE."

After the bus stops everyone grabs their bags then we get off the bus and head to the locker room.

When I get to the locker room I put my stuff down in my locker then I open my bag and grab my jump rope.

Once I have my jump rope I follow the girls out to do the pitch inspection then I stand off to the side and do my normal skipping routine with the jump rope while listening to music.

After 15 minutes I stop doing jump rope thing then I follow my teammates back to the locker room.

When I get to my locker I take my AirPods out, take out my nose ring, take off my necklaces and my rings, then I put my jewelry and AirPods in my bag.

Once I'm jewelry free I put on my warm up top then I put on my game shorts.

I then sit down in my locker, put my long, curly, raven black hair up in a ponytail, put on my socks and put on my black and rainbow boots.

After my boots are on I head onto the field with the outfield players

When I get on the pitch I run through my warm ups with the starters for a while then we head back to the locker room.

Once in the locker room I change out of the training top and change into my white jersey while the coaches do their last minute talks.

After the last minute talks are over we are told to head to the tunnel so Nala and I head to the front of the line in the tunnel.

Minutes later we are told to head out onto the field for the prematch stuff so Nala and I lead our team out onto the field

Once on the field we stand in a line and stand in silence for the Spanish anthem.

When our anthem starts, myself, most of the starting XI, and most of the ladies on the bench all take a knee.

After our anthem plays we shake hands with the refs and the Spanish team then I do the coin toss with the Spain captain.

Once the coin toss is done with I head to our bench, do our team huddle, then I lead Nala to the bench.

"Stay here." I say

Nala yips and smiles at me so I scratch her head then jog to my position on the field.

"LET'S GO MOMO." I hear my twin shout as I jog to my position. "FUCK THESE BITCHES UP."

"Oh thank fuck." I mumble when the full time whistle blows giving us a 1-0 win.

After the whistle blows, I lay down on the ground and catch my breath.

A few minutes later, my favorite puppy appears over me.

"Hey Nala." I say with a smile.

Nala licks my face then she lays on me.

"Comfy?" I ask as I wrap my arms around Nala.

Nala lets out a content sigh then I shut my eyes and relax with my doggy.

"Bubba?" I hear my Mama say so I open my eyes and see my Mom's standing over me.

"Hi." I say.

"You okay?" Mama asks.

"Worn out, but I'm okay." I say.

"You did do a lot of running today." Mommy says.

"We better hope we don't face Spain in the World Cup." I say as Nala gets off of me.

We beat Spain 1-0, but we probably should've gotten a draw at most.

We got lucky on an own goal in the 33rd minute during a corner.

"Kimora they want you for media." Heif says.

"Heif we talked about this." I say as I stand up. "I'm not doing media anymore until I'm treated the same as everyone else."

After I stand up, Nala and I walk around the stadium to sign stuff and take pictures with fans.

Once we're done, Nala and I head into the locker room then we head to my locker.

"Bubs." Mom says as I sit in my locker.

"Yes?" I ask.

"What did you mean about being treated the same as everyone else with the media?"

"I don't think you wanna discuss that right now." I say when I realize everyone is looking at me. "Especially after what happened after last game."

"Kimora we talked about this." Moe says. "You were right to be pissed."

"Seriously Kai." Sonnett says.

"What did you mean Kimora?" Mommy asks.

"I mean that it's bull shit that I have to explain every little thing I do to the media while the ladies who don't kneel get to give vague answers on why their not kneeling." I say. "So I'm no longer speaking to the media because I am always the scape goat for every mother fucking problem for club and country."

Might as well get my feelings out now.

"I get racially abused and it's my fault for being biracial." I say. "We lose a game and it's my fault because I didn't stop a free kick goal. We give a goal up from the left side and it's my fault because I didn't run to the ball on the opposite side of the fucking field. Kyra and I save everybody's fucking life from a school shooter and it's my fault the shooting happened. I get sexually assaulted and it's my fault for looking at Katie Zelem. I get given the captain's armband and I'm ridiculed because I'm taking the armband away from one of the more senior white players. I take Kelley's spot at right back and I'm...Well you all have seen the comments."

Some of the national team fans still haven't gotten over the fact that I'm the starting right back.

"Did you know I thought about retiring?" I randomly say as I look at Nala.

"What?" Mama says.

"After the cop shot me." I say as I pet Nala. "I had a lot of time off and I read a bunch of comments on social media on those posts that were sending me well wishes...a lot of people said they were happy I got shot...they wanted me off the team...they wanted me dead."

"Bubba." Mama says as she, Mom, and Mommy pull chairs in front of me while the rest of my teammates surround us. "Why didn't you tell us?"

"Because I'm used to it." I say. "And sadly I'm always going to be used to it."

"You..." Lindsey says.

"Don't finish that sentence." Crystal whispers then I let out a deep breath.

"I'm tired." I say. "I'm so fucking tired."
