Crap. That's precisely how I feel. Bellamy was drunk last night, but he was right about what he said: I didn't only drink one cup.
How many did I drink? There's no way of telling. Five, six? Eight?
It doesn't matter, anyway. All I can focus on now is my pounding headache. But slowly, more and more of last night's. memories come back.
----------------------------------------------
Now that I'm calm and relaxed, I stop worrying. "Hey Monty! Pass me another drink, will ya?"
Bellamy laughs, satisfied. "Whoa there, Princess," he teases. "How many of those do you plan on having?"
I raise my eyebrows, smirking ever so slightly. "We'll see," I reply, taking the cup that Monty hands me.
----------------------------------------------
I smile to myself, sitting up in my small, empty tent. From what I remember so far, all that happened was innocent fun.
Then another memory comes.
----------------------------------------------
I've moved onto my fifth drink, getting drunker from every sip.
Raven and Finn are dancing under the stars while Jasper, Monty and Miller sing "La Vie en Rose", an old song that they must have heard on the ark. Octavia is dancing with Adam, who is being carefully watched by Bellamy. Bellamy may be too drunk to walk properly, but no matter what state he is in, he'll always look out for his sister.
"Hey," I say, approaching him with staggering steps.
"Hey there, Clarke." He smiles when he looks at me.
I stand next to him. We watch our friends dance and sing for awhile. Then I break the silence.
"They look like they're having fun."
Bellamy raises an eyebrow. "You think?"
"Well, look at them," I say as Finn dips Raven, lifts her back up, and twirls her around. She laughs, making Finn laugh, too. I guess it must be contagious, because now Bellamy is laughing.
"Do you want to dance, Princess?"
His question takes me by surprise.
"Me?" I ask stupidly.
"Do you see another princess around?"
I shake my head, laughing. "Sure, I'll dance."
