part 47- live with me

A/n: this is technically the last part of this book but there will be another part set in the future so that will be the official last part

Alex has been here with me for the past 2 days and has phoned the airline both days to try and get a flight back home but they are being so unhelpful and currently have given him a date in 3 weeks at the earliest which is just ridiculous but I do like having him with me. He doesn't seem too bothered either because today he hasn't phoned them and has been chilling with me round the house even though we have things we probably should do we haven't done them. 

There is hours and hours of footage I need to edit for vlogs and stuff but currently it is all sitting in flies on my computer completely untouched other than the fact that I downloaded them from my memory card. I do plan to edit them in the next few days but I also want to enjoy my time with Alex because who knows when I'll get to see him again once he goes home. I feel like we are going to struggle with being long distance now that we are official and have gotten used to being together but it's something we'll have to face because I'm not going to give up on this relationship easily, Alex is the best thing that had happened to me so there is no way I'm giving up on him just because of distance but it will be more work. 

After a while of sitting on the sofa watching Netflix I made the decision to get up and start my editing, Alex followed me and sat in my office with me watching me edit which I thought would be boring but he seemed content enough. It was actually helpful having him there because he is really good at editing and people like the style of his videos so getting his advice on what to add was really helpful. He showed me some new things which I never knew and are going to massively improve my videos or at least I hope so. Alex was kind enough to actually edit more of my footage on his laptop while I continued with the video I was working on, he didn't film while we were away so he had nothing to edit so thats why he said he would help me out. 

It must have been quite a sight to watch the two of us sat together on different devices editing videos, because as we were both editing the audio was from each video was playing around the otherwise silent room. This was definitely a bad decision because you could hear the same part replaying a few times sometimes so that either of us could work out what was being said, it also meant that when we heard something funny being said we both laughed and got distracted. We did make a lot of progress on both videos and got them mostly done before taking a break for a bit to get some lunch. 

Our small break turned into a long break because we decided to go for a walk down to the beach just for a little bit. Being at the beach reminded me of Brighton but I must say I'm glad to have sand back at not stones because they really hurt my feet. We sat down looking out at the water and the way the waves were breaking on the shore very gently because the water was so calm. I decided to move closer to Alex and rest my head on his shoulder which made him look at me and press a kiss to the top of my head before moving me to sit between his legs with my back pressed against his stomach, he played with my hair running his fingers through it. 

Being at the beach just chilling with Alex makes me so happy that we can spend this time together and we are lucky enough to meet each other in the first place. The fact that our jobs allowed us to get to know each other is amazing especially the fact that it has led to this wonderful relationship. My brain still can't comprehend the fact that all of these things have happened all because I was dared to raid Alex, it shows just how insane being a content creator can be. 

We left the beach and walked back slowly to get back to our editing which would only take a few more hours and then I would have two videos ready to go out and only a bit more footage to turn into another video which sounds much more doable. I was deep in thought about videos and other things most of the walk back until Alex tugged on my hand taking me out of my own head.
