gus
bih i got my mind made up

"so you're dropping hellboy and everyone's coming over?" i confirmed, walking back into gus and i's room. "yeah i think she's done so let's get er fuckin out" gus said. "i mean sure, i think it's great i just thought more went into the release process" i told him. "i'm lil peep i can do whatever the fuck i want" he said.

i still hadn't had a chance to tell gus my choice on school but i didn't wanna take away from this. it was his day no matter how last minute. "hell boy killing the whole game" gus sang, as he fucked around on his computer. "i'm happy for you" i told him. "so am i" he said. he was being a little cocky right now, but i just let him have his moment.

"is everyone coming here or are we going somewhere?" i asked. "might ask tracy if we could use his place. it's bigger" he responded. "okay hun, just let me know. i'm gonna go grab some groceries while you finish whatever you're doing. you can't keep living on cereal and frozen hash browns" i told him. "yes i can" he argued. i rolled my eyes and left, he seemed to caught up in the album to really engage with me anyways.

"hello?" i answered. "hey babes we gonna go to tracy's tonight, aight? he just texted me" gus informed me. "that's fine. do you want anything while i'm out?" i asked. "if you want any booze or food for tonight go ahead but i'm good" he said. "okay. be home soon. bye love you" i said. "love you too" he said, then the line went dead.

gus
tracy on his way over btw

isla
ok whatever

i continued with my errands, at this point i was quite used to random people just half living with us. gus considered them family so if he didn't care neither did i. we all got along for the most part. tracy, gus and i had gotten into a few minor quarrels about layla, but she seemed to be minding her business lately.

"it's literally like having two toddlers" i said, walking into the room with tracy and gus who were bickering to each other about the video game they were playing. "you like the fresh look?" tracy asked me. "it looks better in person" i said, running my hand through gus' hair to examine it.

"i'm just too fucking sexy. i can pull anything off" gus said, staring at his reflection in the tv. "sure thing honey" i said, walking back to put the stuff i just bought away. "oof she just humbled you" i heard tracy say to gus. i giggled to myself.

i finished putting the last bag away, the boys met me in the kitchen. "leave now?" gus asked. "yeah. just let me change" i said, pointing to my inadequate sweatpants outfit. "okay hurry up" gus rushed me. i put on a plain outfit of black skinny jeans and black bralette-shirt sort of thing.

"keep walking around like that and i'll literally kiss you" gus said, eyeing me up and down. "threaten me again i'll come to your house and slam your fucking cupboards" i continued to banter. "i'll fuckin flatten ya young buck" gus said. "what am i witnessing right now?" tracy asked, confused. "well i'm looking for a fuckin fuck or a fight and i don't see your fuckin sister around" gus told him.

tracy looked lost and confused. "this just happens sometimes, welcome to the innards of our relationship" i told him. "yall weird. i'm scared" tracy said, lighting a cigarette. "anyways should we go?" i asked, grabbing my keys. i assumed i was driving anyways. we'd probably end up spending the night regardless.

we arrived at tracy's and there was a few cars i recognized from the like inner circle friend group but also a lot of strangers, like so many people i'd never seen who were now here and all of a sudden like 'peeps og biggest fans'. i'm sure he loved his fans and support but i didn't want him getting used by people here just for clout.

we barely got in the door before gus was pulled off by random people demanding his attention as if they were best friends. i stuck close to tracy, unsure of how to navigate the party without gus. "he'll be back just let him have his 15 seconds tonight" tracy advised me. "okay" i said, uncertain.

"you've got to be fucking kidding me" i cursed out loud. "what?" tracy asks. "her. she's here. why?" i asked, pointing to layla who'd just emerged from the crowd. "fucking hell i don't know" tracy said, equally as annoyed. she walked a little to eagerly towards us, "her guys!" she said in a fake cheery tone. "leave" i said bluntly.

"looks like someone isn't too chatty. maybe i'll check back later. bye isla" layla said, continuing past us and on the prowl towards gus. i took a long step after her, being held back by tracy. "just leave it. don't cause a commotion. let gus have his night. he's a grown ass man and he loves you, he can handle any shit she tries" tracy told me. "okay" i said, mildly reassured.
