Abhishek's POV-

I was sprinting on the treadmill. Shubman was leaving, when he asked, "Abhay, how much time will it take for yours to end?"

"Couple of minute." I puffed and blew panting.

"Ok, I'll wait for you in the car. Let's hangout somewhere." He said.

"Ok"

I wore my hoodie and a cap to head out.

"You are gonna drive?" I raised a brow after sitting.
"Yah, I know how to drive." He replied.

"And last time you almost killed us."
"Aye, that's long back. We haven't even hangout much lately." He told.

"Yah, you are busy with tours and I am with, I don't know what I do." I broke out a smile.

"You made a comeback after months dude. It's just about capitalising on the opportunity, then you too will be busy on tours.."

"So how was england?" I randomly asked.

"It was good, first match was better for me but our team outplayed them in both the matches, so it was pretty nice."

"No, I am asking about the celebration part?" I teased.

"What do you mean?" He smirked while driving.

"The kinda of 'kinky activity' you had a couple of days ago? Was that there in London too?"

"Yah, I mean it's ju-just- for fun, right? We both have certain bad habits, you too drink and smoke and I took up on that kinky part." He chuckled.

"I don't drink and smoke anymore though."

"Wait what! When did that happen?!" He gaped towards me.

"A friend asked me to stop it."
"A friend or girlfriend?" He teased.
"She is just a friend." I smiled.

"I won't ask you who she is, but don't leave her.." He uttered.
"Why?" I raised a brow.

"I didn't noticed the link earlier, but you do talk better, you are motivated towards your life and career now, she made you a better person.." He said.

I ruffled my hair, licking the top lip to supress that smile trying to escape any moment. "Yah." I answered.

"You know the amount you're blushing is making me suspicious that she is not only a friend." He raised a brow.

"Broo!" I said getting out of the car as we reached Starbucks.

He giggled at me as I followed him,
"So what do you want?"

"An americano ofcourse dude." I told him. "15 calories and zero sugar, how can I forget that?!" He bumped his hand on forehead.

He returned back frowning on his phone.
"What happened?" I asked casually.

"I don't know why is Heer ignoring me?! I know she is mad at me for some stupid reason but she has to tell me atleast what it is." He retorted.

I shook my head. Suddenly my phone flashed from a message, shit didn't Heer got a better time to text!

"Wait, what?" Shubman stared at the screen.
"Is she still talking to you?" He added.

"Not very often." I mumbled on edge.

"I asked her not to be in touch with you, but now she's ignoring me."

He continued, "You know what, call her."
"Why?"
"Well she didn't answered mine, let's try from yours." He said.

He took my phone and called her. Please don't pick it up Heer.

H- Hello.

S- What the-, why are you talking to him?

H- Shub?! What's this?

S- You can ignore me, but you dare talk to this guy again. End whatever friendship you both had till this day.

She hung up and he gave me back the phone.

"She is just sympathetic towards you, there is no meaning of her friendship. So no need to talk to her." He told.

"Hmm." I spoke under the breath.

Heer's POV-

I was working on a presentation, when Abhay called me. I ran to the balcony and answered,

A- Hi.

H- Are you still with him? (Whispering)

A- No. (Chuckle)

H- What was that today?!

A- He was just talking about you ignoring him, and at the same moment your text popped up on my phone.

H- Shit, he would be so mad!

A- You listened him.

H- It would be so difficult for us living together in future.

A- Wait a second, woah!

H- Shoot, what did I just said!! (Facepalmed laughing)

A- But I am flattered that you considered my proposal.

H- So how's your practice going on? (Trying so hard not to blush)

A- Just hustling around, and it kinda paid off. Coach said that I might play tomorrow.

H- Wow, that's great.

A- Yah, I'm excited too.

H- I wanted to come see your match.

A- I'd love if you are there.

H- So a little request, can you buy me a ticket?

A- Of course but are you sure about it? Like Shubman doesn't approve you right?

H- God I am tired of listening him.

A- Then how many tickets?

H- Just one for me, and in a spot where the camera focuses the least.

A- Sure (laughing). I'll send you that by tomorrow.

H- I should go back to work now.

A- Sure, bye.

H- Bye, take care.
