Of Men And Angels Part 1

"What happened?" Magnus cries as we enter his apartment 

"He was attacked!" Simon shouts 

"He needs a warlock. He needs you." Clary screeches and I watch as Magnus lays out a blanket 

"Put him here." Magnus states patting the blanket 

"Where are you..." Luke begins to repeat over and over again "Reign, Clary listen to me. Listen... you have to listen to me. I have to tell you, just in case—" he says as he grabs my arm and pulls me down towards his level 

"No, don't even say it, don't—" I cry and I watch as Luke shakes his head 

"Was he bitten by an alpha?" Magnus asks and I nod 

"Yeah, why?" I ask and I watch as Magnus begins to walk away 

"Where do you think you're going?" Clary cries after him and he holds up a finger

"Hold him down." Magnus says as he grabs something from another room "It'll take a few moments to take effect." He says as he pours some medicine on Luke who cries out and struggles against Simon and I who hold him down still 

"What's happening to him?" I ask 

"Random werewolf transformation. It's a side effect of the poison in the alpha bite." he states. It took a few moments for Luke to finally calm down and I sat by him as Clary slept on the couch in the other room 

"You okay?" Simon asks and I jump as he walks into the room I nod giving him a weak smile "Hey... it's me. I know how much he means to you." Simon says and I sigh 

"How could we have doubted him? Simon, he's... He's the only father I've ever known. That Clarys ever known.  We can't lose him." I whisper and Simon pulls me up to hug me 

" I get a good vibe from this Magnus Bane guy. He seems like he knows what he's doing." Simon says and I smirk 

"The bark will stop the transformation for now, but Luke needs an antidote to stop the poison in his system. And I don't have all the ingredients here." Magnus says coming in at perfect timing 

"Just tell me what you need and how to get it." I state 

"No, you stay here. Luke will need you if he wakes up." Magnus says 

"When he wakes up." Clary clarifies as she wakes up from her sleep 

"I'll go." Simon states 

"I'll go." Another voice enters and I turn around to see Jace walk through the door 

"Jace, what happened to you?" Magnus asks in surprise and it's only then that I notice that Jace has blood running down his nose he sighs

"Luke's car may have found its way onto a pole when I was stashing it. I don't do mundane driving." Jace says 

"Yeah, apparently." Simon states and I quickly hold out a tissue towards Jace he takes it with a small nod before wiping the blood 

"What do you need for the antidote?" Jace asks 

"Hey, I got this." Simon cries 

"Phoenix eyes, moon salt, and Idris fulgurite." Magnus states as he continues to rush around the room 

"One trip to the pharmacy, it'll take two seconds." Simon says as he begins to walk forward but Jace's hand stops him 

"I know a guy." Jace states before he looks over at Simon with disgust on his face "And, uh... I don't need him."

"Too bad. You're getting me. We'll be right back." Simon states and I roll my eyes as they square up to each other up before they finally sigh and spin around to walk off together
