Chapter 12 : Too

When Street comes back from the operation room in his bedroom, Chris is her, on the chaire where she stayed the whole night.

She expected to see him awake but he's not

So she asks aggressively

« Why is he not awake, the surgery went badly ? »

« Hey, slow down, he is okay don't worry » The nurse says

« So why he is not awake ? » Chris asks

« The surgery was important, he has to wake up slowly,

Are you Chris ?, his..girlfriend, right ? » The nurses replies

« Yes I'm..Chris »

« Okay, the doctor told me you stayed her the whole night, you know, you should take some rest » The nurse says

« But...I can't sleep, I need to know he is okay » Chris says

« The surgery went well, okay ? He is okay now, he will wake up in couples hours. The recovery will be long but he is not gonna die » The nurse says trying to comfort her

« Oh my god, thank you so much » Chris says hugging the nurse

« You should sleep now, okay ? He will need you when he'll wake up » The nurse says

Chris looks at her and smiles

« I should leave you now » The nurse says and leave

Chris sits on the chair and tries to fall asleep

1 hour later

« Chris...Chris... » someone ask

She wakes upon open her eyes and

sees Street trying to waking up

« Hey.. » She says sitting on his bed

She takes his hand and, he squeezes her hand tight.

She starts crying

« Hey, Chris... » Street says putting his other hand on her cheek

« I...I'm sorry for what I told you, I didn't meant it,I...I was jus mad at you fo.. »

« Chris.. » Street says trying to stop her

« I...I love you too,I know it since the beginning but I don't know why I needed to almost lose to tell you » She says

A tear down on Street's face

They look at each other for one second

He brings her face closer to him and she kiss him for 10 seconds

When they stop kissing, they do their forehead touching

And she says

« I don't know what I'd did if I lost you.. »

« But I'm here now » He replies

« Did you read the letter ? » He asks
