A Quiet Place II

chapter 4

Me and Marcus start wondering around the place seeing if we can find anything, until Marcus speaks up

"I want to go on the top floor to see if I can see anything" Marcus signed

I nodded 

We carefully walk up stairs until we stop a window

I know I should be scared because we could accidentally make noise but now that I am realizing it this is the most I ever talked to Marcus (when I say talked/said I actually mean sign)

I couldn't help but look at him while he is looking outside and notice how different he looked, he got a few inches taller and he grew out his hair which is very curly, huh I guess I never notice this before

I guess Marcus could feel me looking at him because he looked at me

I should looked away but I couldn't , I expect him to look away too but he just kept looking into my eyes like he wanted to say something.

I eventually looked away and started walking somewhere away from here, it just the tension was too much for me to handle.

But why in that moment I wanted to kiss him, I never felt anything like this for him, maybe its just because he the only boy I know that around my age still alive, yeah I am going to go with that.

I started looking at these drawing that looked like Emmett kid, but the weird thing is that he had a lot of them.

I was suddenly drawn out of my focus when Marcus accidentally made noise from something he found

I quickly looked up to see he found a body and must of gotten scared

I didn't know what to do I know that noise was big enough for the monsters to hear, I just stayed still looking at Marcus

Marcus quickly came over to me and grabbed my hand and started running, it was kinda hard for him to run do to his leg 

I looked over my shoulder to see the monster (by the way if anyone knows the name to monster in the movie, can you please tell me) 

I picked up my pace and started running faster with Marcus still in my hand. Once we got down there we were for sure thought we lost it but boy was I wrong.

Marcus quickly grab his baby (sister or brother, I can't remember) and put it in the chamber and I quickly grabbed my brother who was starting to wake up because of all the noise we caused.

"Shhhh, you have to be quiet" I signed all nervously he would say something

"We have to go in the chamber so the monster won't get us" I said to Marcus and my brother

I picked my brother and put him in the chamber, then I went in after him

Marcus was about to go in we he went back for the radio

The monster was so close to getting him

Once Marcus came inside the chamber I let out a huge breath that I didn't know I was holding.

I looked at my brother to make sure he was still okay then I looked at Marcus who looked scared, so I did something that I knew I would probably regret 

 I held his hand.....

at first he looked like he didn't want to hold my hand, so I was about to pull back when out of no where he held my hand back but he intertwine my fingers with his.
