They did the ritual where the bride and groom have to find a ring in a bowl full of milk. Om and gauri found the ring together which brought on a round of applause

Next they did a ritual where both of them had to feed each other. Awkwardness was clearly visible between the two. They weren't very comfortable with each other yet. Next gauri served everyone the kheer she was asked to make as her pehli rasoi (first dish made by daughter in law).

Everyone loved her kheer, even omkara, who wasn't very fond of sweet dishes. The elders gave her their blessings in the form of jewellery and money. Even Tej praised her and gave her a gift. Om was surprised, he had not expected Tej to act so civilly with gauri. Junior oberois, gauri and Annika settled by the pool and rudra narrated the story to Annika
