todoroki pov:
Saturday, i had been working all day and no text from kats. odd. i looked at my phone again, nothing, no morning text, no updates, he didn't even read my text. maybe his phone's dead? no that wouldn't happen. i shook my head and looked at the time, "ten minutes" i mumbled smiling. ten minutes and i got to leave this place and go back home to kats. i put away my phone and hummed still worried on why he hasn't texted yet.
putting away my work things i grabbed my bag and practically ran out of my workplace. i sped walked home, a good few blocks. getting in side everything was off, no lights, no tv, no music, no toys? i walked to kats playroom and peeked in, nothing? the rooms still clean, all his plushie and toys put away as i remember them. i walked to our room down the hall and entered quietly. to my surprise, there laid my boyfriend, sleeping with his favourite pacifier and plushie.
putting my bag down i walked over and lightly kissed his forehead.
"baby boy?" i whispered laying next to him.
he slowly looked at me and whined cuddling closer. i held him close and rubbed his back.
bakugou's pov:
sick..i feel sick..i looked at the time eleven am, Sho's at work for a few hours still. i sat up and immediately regretted it. laying back down i cuddled my plushie and popped my pacifier in my mouth.
"baba.." a weak mumble.
i want Sho lots, i don't feel good..but texting him would worry him more at work..i'll just sleep.
~back to present time~
still bakugou's pov:
i felt something in my forehead but decided to ignore it till i heard..
"baby boy?" a whisper?
i felt the bed shift and i peeked out, Sho, Sho's home! i smiled weakly behind my plushie but all i could do was whine, i felt weak for feeling sick. i felt myself being pulled closer to him, i laid my head on his chest as he rubbed my back softly.
"is my baby feeling sicky?" he wishpered again, i smiled a bit being happy that he was so gentle.
nodding softly and looked at him, worry, his face was full of worry..i buried my face into his shirt, he smelled of waffles and bacon, yummy.
todoroki's pov:
i stroke kats hair as he buried himself into my shirt, cute. i held him for a bit before kissing his forehead and laying him next to me. he peeked up at me as i sat up.
"i'm going to get a few thing to help with the sicky feeling okay?"
a weak nod, i got up frowning a bit. i should've stayed home today, i had an off feeling this morning but he looked fine. well i can't blame myself. i sighed as i picked up a thermometer, some meds, liquid ones and a cloth. i smiled soaking the cloth under cold water.
i got back to the room and placed the cloth on his forehead lightly. he instantly relaxed.
"can you say ahhh for me?" i asked softly.
an other nod as he removed his pacifier and opened his mouth. i place the thermometer and rubbed his forehead cheek. 42°, i looked through the meds for what could help my baby the best. i grabbed one and sat it on the side table.
"up" i warned and kissed his cheek. slowly i lifted him into my arms and walked to the kitchen.
getting to the kitchen i looked at the boy in my arms. half awake and looking back at me.
bakugou's pov:
i watched Sho's face as he walked, i took a look around, the kitchen. i looked back at him and he looked at me. smiling softly and laid my head on his shoulder and watched as he poured some cold medicine in a tiny plastic cup. ew i thought as he brought the cup closer to my mouth. pouting i drank the medicine, i felt too weak to fight against it.
laying back in our bed Sho held me close and turned on some cartoons. i lightly poked his cheek and mumbled
"ba..ba"
he looked at me and kissed my forehead while speaking softly.
"get some rest, baba will be here okay?"
