The gifted one (Naruto fanfic)

Prologue

Mia, a 3 year old girl was traveling with her older brother in the Land of fire. His brother's name was Hikaru, who is 14 years old.

Their parent's died a few months back at their small village. Apparently, their small village was under attacked by a few rogue ninjas and bandits.

They were the only ones who had escaped, and survived.

"Big, brother? Where are we going now?" Little Mia was asking her older brother Hikaru.

He had sighed, and said.

"We are going to the Hidden Leaf Village. Mother and Father told us to go and reside there."

"Ok." Mia said quietly.

Their parent's told Hikaru that he should bring Mia with him, and go to Konoha.

They must asked the Hokage that they want to reside there and tell him the whole story of what happened to them.

Hikaru was given a scroll and will gave it to the Hokage. A scroll about the well being of Mia, and her ability.

Hikaru knew the reason why their village was under attack, and sworn to protect his younger sister, even risking his own life.

And that time he also regretted that he left his parents and the village, but he had no other choice but to protect Mia at all costs.

Mia was still young to understand the ways how the world does, but she knew the meaning of danger and knew how to be smart.

Hikaru was ninja before, but he gone hiatus for some reason. He has been teaching Mia how to defend herself, just in case if she was alone.

Hikaru also taught Mia Summoning jutsu, she was able to summon deer. Since, Hikaru can summon deer and had a summoning contract with him.

Hikaru knew some medical ninjutsu and began teaching her also.

Over quiet some time, for the past few months they have been traveling and stop by at some small villages to gather few supplies for their travel to Konoha.

Sometimes, they also rest there for a few days.

But unfortunately for them, they have been hunting down by rogue ninjas. Because of Mia who had a special ability, an ability to see the future.

She can see the future on her own free will, but at other times the visions just came in a flash. These kinds of visions were all bunch of warnings.

Their parent's and especially Hikaru saw these as a gift. But to others they saw this as a tool.

It's a good thing that the village respect Mia as a person, and not a tool for their own advantage.

Some of them are a little bit unsure, they were afraid that the child can bring bad luck to them, especially they were a small village.

So small that they didn't have much forces of ninjas like the main villages.

Until, that it became rumors to rogue ninjas and bandits about Mia and her special ability.

And that time the village was attacked, and tried to Mia. But to their out of luck Mia had fled with her brother to konoha.

And now they are still travelling, the leaf village is still a few miles away.

Suddenly, Hikaru had sensed that they have been followed. He tried to quicken their pace, but tried not to alarm the follower that he had noticed them.
