After a few days Jaden is seen getting ready to go meet up with a member of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
Jaden: Okay, I'm all set. Now I need to--
Then, Jaden heard someone fall right outside his room.
???: Gah!
Jaden: What was that?
He goes to check and sees a boy with dark blue hair and appears to be wearing some sort of uniform.
Jaden: Hey! Are you alright?
???: (twitching in pain) I... think.
Jaden: (notice something on the boy's back) Is...that a sword?
???: Huh?
The unknown boy took notice of his personal item and grips it.
Jaden: Easy! I wasn't going to take it. But let me bring you in my apartment alright.
???: How can I trust you?
Jaden: One: You don't see people falling in front of apartment complexes. And Two: I help those in need.
The boy looked at Jaden suspiciously. He then sighs and puts the sword back behind him.
???: I'll trust you...for now.
Jaden: Ok...I'm Jaden Davies. What's your name?
???: ...Rin. Rin Okumura.
Jaden: Alright, Rin. Let's get you inside.
Rin: Yeah, yeah, messy.
Jaden then helps Rin up and takes him inside his apartment and Rin took notice on how he lives.

Jaden: You can stay as much as you like. I'll go find the medkit and patch you up.
As soon as Jaden went looking for the medkit, Rin noticed something on the self that looked like goggles in a weird way.
