Snake glanced back at the couch as he heard a groan, looking back out the window as he sipped his coffee. "Snake?" He looked over and saw Scott was looking around for him.
"In the kitchen." A few moments later he felt a presence beside him. "I'm heading out with my friends for a few hours, I assume you can handle yourself." That was his excuse, but after waking up with the short brunet cuddled up next to him with his arms wrapped around Scott's body, he wanted some room to think.
"I want to go too." Snake looked over at Scott before shaking his head.
"No, and you'll be fine. You have your PS4 and if you need me you can just text me." He heard Scott let out a small sigh before heading off back to --Snake assumed-- the living room. Snake took another sip of his coffee before his phone vibrated. He slipped it out of his pocket and looked at the text.

Jund: I want to go :(

Snake let out a heavy sigh as he set his coffee down.

Snake: I said no, we're heading to a horror movie and I don't think you can handle it.
Jund: I so can! Let me prove it to you!
Snake: You'll just get scared, so no, stay home.
Jund: You're supposed to babysit me not leave me alone
Jund: So ha you have to take me with you

Snake rubbed his forehead in aggravation, of course the brat would pull that.

Snake: Go get dressed, I'm leaving in five with or without you.

He couldn't help but chuckle when he heard the thuds of Scott's feet as he took off up the stairs, he quickly finished his coffee as he grabbed his keys and wallet. He took his time pulling on his trench coat, glancing over at the stairs as Scott came running down and bolting straight to the door. "Hurry up, I'm leaving." Snake pulled on his combat boots as he opened the door and headed out to his car. He looked behind him and saw Scott rushing out. "Lock the door." Scott gave him a pleading look before turning back and running to lock the door. Snake unlocked the doors to his car and he slid in, letting out a small chuckle as Scott jumped in the passenger side just as he was starting his car.
"You're... you're a dick." Scott panted, Snake just smirked as he backed out of the driveway.

.:.

Snake pulled onto the theatre parking lot, finding a spot close to the doors before parking. He turned off the engine before getting out and heading to the box office, Scott right by his side. "Snake! Over here!" He looked over and saw Cry and Russ waiting by the entrance. "Couldn't cut it any closer if you tried." Russ joked as Snake shook his head.
"Traffic is surprisingly bad over where I'm babysitting at." Russ and Cry just nodded before Cry peeked around behind Snake.
"Uh, you do realize he came along, right?"
Snake nodded. "I do, the plan's changed and he had to come along." He turned to Scott. "This is Cry and Russ." Russ gave a small wave while Cry let out a small "hi".
"Um, I'm Scott."
Cry let out a small chuckle. "We already know, Snake doesn't shut up about y-" Cry stopped as Snake elbowed him in the stomach, the taller one sending a small glare.
"Let's go get some good seats before we're stuck at the front." Cry just nodded before they went and bought their tickets, Snake and Scott going last.
"So you brought money for your own ticket, right?" Snake gave Scott his usual stoic face as the short brunet looked like he was ready to go into a panic. "But don't worry, keep your money and I'll pay." Snake smirked as Scott glared at him.
"That's not funny!" Scott hissed as Snake bought two tickets.
"I don't know, seeing you look panicked was pretty funny." Snake received a small shove as he let out a chuckle, leading Scott to the right room. He saw Russ and Cry managed to snag some seats near the back, glad they didn't have to sit near the front.
"Alright, go in." Snake instructed Scott, wanting to sit on the outside.
"No way, you sit by Cry." Snake was ready to argue but gave in as the lights started to dim. He quickly slid in and sat beside Cry, Scott sitting to his right.
When he, Cry, and Russ usually went to the movies, Cry was usually seated in between the two so he was able to latch onto someone if he got scared. Now Snake potentially had two people who would grab onto him if they got scared.
He glanced over at Scott. "If you need to leave, just tell me and we're gone." He murmured, Scott glancing up and nodding as the advertisements started to play. As the movie actually started, there was immediately a few jump-scares, two of three catching Cry off guard and all of them catching Scott. Snake glanced at Cry and saw he actually looked fairly bored while on the other side, Scott was gripping the armrests of the seat.
As another jump-scare popped up, Cry and Russ were chuckling at how silly it was. Snake was about to make a smart ass comment before Scott tightly held onto his arm and hid his face away. Snake blinked in surprise before removing his arm from Scott and wrapping it around him, the younger one hiding his face in Snake's side as he peeked up from time to time. All the while Snake was gently rubbing his shoulder in comfort, curious as to why Scott didn't ask to leave if he was so scared.
As the lights came on and the credits rolled, Cry and Russ were laughing and joking about how stupid the movie was. "Dude, the chick was so fucking dumb! You don't call out in a house that you think there's a murderer in!" Snake looked over and gave a small laugh in agreement as he stood up, Scott still clinging onto him.
"Hey," Snake glanced up at Russ, "is he okay?" Snake looked down at Scott before looking back up.
"He'll be fine, guess he's just not a fan of horror movies." Russ nodded at the explanation before Cry pipped up.
"Dude, we should totally go for pizza, that always makes me feel better after a scary movie." They all looked at Scott as he gave a small nod. "Alright! We'll meet you guys at the pizza joint just a few blocks over!" With that, Cry and Russ turned and headed off to their own car, Snake and Scott heading the other way.
"Hey, I'm sorry, I didn't think the movie would be that scary." Snake looked down and saw Scott let out a small sigh.
"It's fine, I should've just stayed home."
"You should've, but now you get to head out for pizza and maybe if you're extra good we can stop at a GameStop and pick up a few games." Scott's head shot up as a huge grin took over his face.
"Really?!" Snake gave a soft smile as he nodded, unlocking the doors to his car.
"Of course, but that means not being an ass to or around my friends." Scott just nodded quickly as he sat down and buckled up swiftly, bouncing with excitement.

.:.

The rest of the day went by normally. They went and had pizza --Scott surprisingly didn't act out-- then left to get a few games, returning to the house and playing one of the three games Snake bought for Scott. One thing he did notice though was that Scott would follow him everywhere, even if it was to get a drink, Scott would get up and follow.
"Alright, it's midnight, you should head to bed." Snake stretched his arms above his head, pausing for a moment when he saw Scott tense up.
"Do I have to?" Snake nodded as he stood up, watching Scott carefully. The shorter one gave in as he shut down the PS4 and headed towards the stairs, hesitating before climbing up.
"Good night, Campbell."
"Night, Snake."

.:.

Snake sat quietly up on the counter by the window, watching the rain as he cleared his mind. He liked the gentle patter of the rain on the house, the sound comforted him. But the single sound of rain was broken as he heard a small throat clear. "Snake?" He looked over and saw Scott standing there, hugging himself. "I can't sleep." Snake silently got off the counter and walked over.
"Why can't you sleep?" He asked softly, guiding Scott over to the couch.
"The movie..." He trailed off as he sat down, looking slightly embarrassed.
Snake gave him a sympathetic look as he sat down beside him, softly rubbing his back. "What do you think will make it better?" Scott looked up at Snake before looking back down.
"Could you come sit up in my room with me?" Snake raise an eyebrow. "Or at least until I fall asleep." Scott quickly tacked on before shaking his head. "Just, never mind, forget about it. I'm just being a pussy." Scott went to get up but Snake quickly grabbed his arm.
"Scott, it's fine to be scared. Let's go up to your room." He gently held Scott's hand as he lead him up the stairs, entering his room first as he looked around. Scott went to his bed as laid down, covering up with the comforter.
Snake thought back to the movie to think of what could scare him before heading to his closet and opening it.
"Hey, look, no creatures or monsters."
"I'm not a two year old."
"But it's helping, isn't it?" Scott remained silent before Snake walked over, crouching down and looking under the bed. "Nothing there either. It's just you and me in here." Scott let out a small hum showing he heard before rolling over to face Snake. He offered a small smile before heading over to Scott's guitar and picking it up, quickly tuning it. "Any requests?"
"Mother, I'm Here." Scott answered without missing a beat. Snake nodded as he began to play the song, humming softly as he glanced between Scott and the window in his room.
Snake looked back over at Scott and couldn't help but smile slightly, the younger one was already asleep. He played through the song a few more times to be sure Scott was asleep before getting up, placing the guitar on its stand. He slowly made his way over to Scott, covering him up. Snake smiled as he gently brushed the hair away from Scott's face, resisting the urge to kiss him. He quickly shook his head before heading to the door, he looked over at Scott again as he stood there. "Goodnight, Scott." He mumbled quietly, heading out of the room and closing the door with a soft smile on his face.
