And built us this whole crib
We colonized this planet just fine
But bad luck sometimes hits
Like when a horse will break her spine
Or when a cow's got the shits
Sometimes the dryer leaves stuff wet
Sometimes the windmill breaks
Sometimes the landlord makes us get
Fined money for small mistakes.

Sometimes the windows in the old barn break
And we call in new glass
Daddy once tried to balance on a crate
And got knocked on his ass!
So all in all our life is good
Though it may not be the best
We always have a bed and food
And just enough time to rest!
