"Oh my god!" Roman giggled as he bounced in the seat just smiling away as he watched the amusement park get closer. Virgil just laughed softly from the driver's seat as Kai rolled his eyes playfully in the back. They both knew taking Roman here was the best choice.

Throughout the Senior year, they've all been trying to introduce Roman to more of what 'life' has and the angel loved every moment of it. Patton and Roman would back every Friday, trying out a new recipe. Logan would take Roman and Janus to the library to learn more about magic and everything. Logan had to a bit that seeing Roman's eyes sparkle as he tried his hand at more witchy spells had been a sight to behold. Remus was teaching Roman the art of hunting... not to actually hunt or anything, more so to know how hunters work so that they could be prepared if anything happened again. But still... Roman enjoyed learning new ways to protect those he cared about. Thomas... Thomas, bless his soul...

Thomas got Roman a dog. A small little 2-month german shepherd husky mix that absolutely loved Roman and at times would even challenge Virgil for the Angel's cuddles. Virgil didn't mind it really. That dog helped Roman through a lot he had still affecting him. In fact, it was the whole reason, Thomas got him... as an ESA. Turning into an angel didn't take away any of the trauma the man had. However, at least now Roman was able to really start living.

"I can't believe you did this!" Roman squeaked as he tried not to let his wings appear in all his excitement. Kai just laughed from behind him, catching Roman's eyes, which sparkled as he watched the human's face light up in humor. "You goys got tickets for it?! I... Aah!"

"And why wouldn't we?" Kai lulled softly, making a soft blush grow on Roman's cheeks. "It's your birthday."

"Angels don't have birthdays-..."

"Hun." Virgil quickly cut Roman off, who smiled feeling as his love took his hand, despite his eyes obviously still on the road. "You were human once. You still have the right to celebrate the day you were born. Angel or not."

"I... I just..." Roman's smile turned sad as he squeezed Virgil's hand. "I haven't gotten the chance to in a very long time. I didn't remember it when I was a demon. I just... Thank you." Roman practically purred as he leaned back against the seat, reaching his free hand up over the back of it to hold Kai's, who just smiled as he let his fingers intertwine with Roman's. "Thank you both so much."

"It was Virgil's idea." Kai teased as Virgil just huffed in annoyance. "I don't know why you're thanking me."

"You paid for the tickets so deal with it." Virgil laughed as he shot a quick smile back to Kai only to hesitate seeing how Roman sat there blushed in his seat, still not yet letting go of either of their hands. A small smile grew on Virgil's face as his eyes softened at the sight. "Just let me find a good place to park and then the whole day is yours. Ok Roman?"

"I don't need the whole day." Roman whispered as his eyes went white, revealing just how strongly he was feeling. "Just you. Just us..." Roman glanced back through the review to see Kai smiling. "You're going to be with us right... the whole time."

"As long as you want me to be. I wasn't exactly planning on third-wheeling your date." Virgil burst out laughing only making Kai giggle back too.

"Oh you mean like I did at the ice rink."

"Oh for the love of..." Kai growled playfully as Virgil finally managed to snag an open parking spot decently close to the entrance. "I have told you, you didn't butt in, Virgil!"

"Oh no... I totally didn't. It wasn't like Roman's complete and total focus was on me." Roman whined making Virgil stop short. Roman just sat there, hands clasped tightly to his lap, as he stared blankly at nothing. Virgil sighed as he brushed Roman's hair back earning a soft huff in response. "I was just teasing, Ro. I promise."

"You sure?"

"Yeah... I'm not upset about it anymore. Trust me." Roman sighed as he nodded watching as Virgil and Kai both scrambled out of the car. Roman couldn't help but smile over everything. Here he was... the day of his human birth just spending it all with the two that meant so much to him. His mate... and his best friend... best...

"Hurry up, Angel Cake!" Kai laughed as he suddenly appeared in Roman's window making him jump. "What are you waiting for? Some sort of Divine sign?"

"Oh ha ha..." Roman rolled his eyes as he followed the two out of the car. "I AM your divine sign." Roman teased as he gently pulled Kai in who was still laughing over everything.

"You're divine alright... A divine child!" Virgil stood there smiling over just how light Roman's eyes seemed to shine. "You, my friend, are as excitable as a toddler."

"I won't deny it."

"Well if you two keep wasting time..." Virgil gently pushed Roman making the two both stumble as Virgil laughed. "We're going to be denied entrance... Because of how LATE it'll be. Hurry up!" Virgil took off running making Roman growled playfully.

"Sorry, mi paloma, but I've been challenged." (My Dove)

"Go get him, Angel." Roman's eyes flashed white as he smirked before taking off in a gust of wind, the sound of Kai's laugher filling his mind as he ran. It didn't take him long at all to have Virgil in his arms as he spun his mate around with a fond smile.

"ROMAN!" Virgil screeched only to completely melt into the angel as Roman pressed his lips into his with the softest of touches, just basking in the contact.

"Mi Preciosa Flor..." (My Precious Flower) Roman literally sang, pushing his songful lull so much in his voice Virgil couldn't help but melt further. "I love you so much."

"I know, Angel." Virgil could see just how blissed Roman was as he gave his angel a small peck. "Let's wait for Kai and then the three of us can head in ok."

"Ok. Yea... Of course." Roman chuckled as he leaned his head against his mates. "Wait for Kai... and then I get to spend the rest of the day with you two..." The was a familiar shimmer in Roman's eyes that Virgil caught right away with a very soft smile. "...las personas más importantes de mi vida." (...the most important people in my life.)

"And Ro?" Roman blinked a bit as Virgil pulled back, making him falter at the sudden serious gleam in Virgil's eyes despite the soft look. "You and I really need to talk before the day is over."

"Why? Is everything ok? Virgil? I didn't do anyth-..."

"Of course not, Roman." Virgil quickly cut in seeing the panic in his love's eyes. "You've done nothing wrong, trust me."

"I'm getting a very bad sense of deja vu."

"Don't worry, Angel." Roman whined as Virgil gently caressed his cheek. "You've done nothing wrong."

"Kai said the same thing before breaking up with me." Virgil's eyes flashed as he quickly shook his head, almost frantic in a way.

"Never, Hun. You know I love you. It's ok. I just feel now should be about you focusing on your birthday is all. It's ok." Roman let out a shaky breath as Virgil gave him one more kiss. "I'm not leaving you."

"And I'm not leaving you either." Kai boasted as he finally jumped up behind the two startling Roman who yelled out. "Oh my god! How is it that you are so easily scared?" Roman huffed as he shot Kai a pout only making the two humans laugh more. " Come on, Ro... you know I didn't mean it." Kai pleaded playfully as he nudged Roman gently till the other gave in and started to smile. "AY! There's that angelic grin. You ready Birthday boy?"

"Yeah..." Roman lit up as he took both of their hands gently tugging them towards the amusement park entrance. "Let's go! Let's go!"
