Athanese complimented as he slowly braided his hair

" Of course it is "

Lucas replied while feeling proud at his hair

Who knew Ijekiel will fall for Athanese ?
  That was quite unexpected though. Now that I think of it he really treated Athanese nicely . People don't normally do things like that for anybody.

But Ijekiel has Jennette and they got together in the novel . Is it because I changed the flow of this story and Athanese is alive ?

I wonder how Ijekiel fell in love with Jennette in the novel . He was always there to comfort her when she cried '

Athanasia thought as she tried to remember about the novel

Athanasia thought as her mana fluctuated without her knowledge

" Hey !! Athy ! "

Athanese said as he worriedly looked at Athanasia who has zoned out

" HEY !! "

Lucas yelled as he gently shook her

" what did you think about just now "

Lucas asked as Athanasia gasped

" Huh ? What ? "

Athanasia replied as she looked at Lucas and Athanese confusedly

' I have never seen Athanasia's Mana act like that '

Athanese thought as he remembered how weirdly her mana was behaving

' tch . I have never seen her mana fluctuate like that '

Lucas thought as he was about to cut off his hair but Athanese quickly caught his hand and looked at him pleadingly to not cut his hair

" Athy ,you should go rest for now "

Athanese said as he looked at Athanasia worriedly

' Ah , I made Athanese worried about me again '

Athanasia thought as she nodded her head and left after giving them a small bye

" Don't cut off your hair "

Athanese said as he opened the braids gently while pulling away the accessories slowly

" heh ? Why is that ? "

Lucas asked as he gently grabbed Athanese's wrist and looked at him

" Because it makes you look pretty "

Athanese replied while blushing .

" Then how do I look when my hair is short ? "

Lucas said as he smirked at his blushing face

" Y - you look nice with both hairstyle but "

Athanese replied as he avoided looking at Lucas while blushing

" But what ? "

Lucas asked curiously with a smirk on his face while closing the distance between them

" I will complain to Athy if you tease me like this "

Athanese protested as tear form on the corner of his eyes

" Tch . Fine "

Lucas said as he left the hold on Athanese's wrist and leaned back

" So what were you thinking about anyways ? "

Lucas asked as cut off his hair since he can grow them back by magic if he wanted to

" kiel ? "

Athanese replied confusedly

" Huh ? You were thinking about that brat ? "

Lucas asked as he looked at Athanese

" Haha , I mean it has been a while since we last met and he is my childhood friend too "

Athanese replied as his cheeks lightened up when he remembered about the kiss with Ijekiel

' why's he blushing thinking about that white haired brat and he even has a nickname for him'

Lucas thought feeling jealous

" do you like people like him ? "

Lucas asked as he quickly closed the distance between

" Huh , What  ? "

Athanese said confusedly

" do you like that type who pretend to be obedient and polite ? "

Lucas asked as he looked at Athanese

" I am sure Kiel doesn't pretend to be nice and polite- "

Athanese said as he got interrupted by none other than Lucas

" How do you know "

Lucas asked

' huh ? Today Lucas is also acting weird '

Athanese thought as he looked at Lucas for a while without answering

" Hey ! Answer my question- "

Lucas said as he was suddenly interrupted when Athanese pulled him near his face by his collar

" W- what are d-doing ? "

Lucas muttered as he blushed at how close they were. They were so close that their nose were almost touching . Lucas closed his eyes expecting a kiss on the lips but he felt a tint of disappointment when Athanese gently kissed his cheek .

" There . Its a thank you gift for you , Lucas "

Athanese said as he smiled with his eyes closed

" Wait "

Lucas said as he pinned Athanese down on the couch

" Wh - what "

Athanese said feeling a strange emotion he had never experienced

" Here . "

Lucas said as he gently pecked Athanese's forehead

' soft '

Lucas thought as he slowly pulled away and sat up with his cheeks flushing red whereas Athanese's face had already turned into a tomato

' wh- what was that ? '

Athanese thought as he also sat up and covered his blushing face with his hands

Meanwhile , inside the throne room . Claude was getting a visit from Roger Alpheus on the recent state affairs. Claude suddenly stopped writing and looked around feeling irritated for some reason

" Is something wrong , your highness ? "

Roger asked cautiously as he glanced at Claude

Inside Athanasia's room , she was laying down on her bed while talking with lily but she stood up immediately feeling unpleasant for some reason

" Is something wrong , Princess ? "

Lily asked

" I really feel like I want to punch some scumbag ''
