60 minutes had a segment about detransitioners, and it's making twitter go apeshit.
And as a trans man, I just want to say that I got my hormones at 18. They were so easy to get that even I felt uncomfortable with how easy I got them. I knew that the wrong person could undergo this same process and have a completely different outcome than they were expecting.
Instead of ostracizing detransitioners, we should give them a voice. HRT is not for everyone, and people need to know there's more than one outcome for it.
