As soon as I got into my room, I fell on my bed. Ah! It feels so nice to be back in this bed! I wanted to open my luggage and place my stuff back but I drifted to sleep way before I imagined it.

Knock! Knock! Ugh, let me sleep, man.

I woke up to hearing knocks on my door.

"Come in" I said in my tired voice.

"Sorry to bother Adalina, someone sent you this" It was my dad holding a huge bouquet.

"That's for me?" Who would send me this? Ayla?

I got off my bed and grabbed the bouquet from my dad before he left my room. I checked the bouquet to see if there was a note or something and finally found one. Oh my Allah. My heart dropped.

Welcome back kitten <3

No no no!! Where is he? And how does he know I'm back?! This can't be for real! My stress levels were getting high again. Can't he just pretend I don't exist? I have to calm down. Okay, it's only flowers. It means nothing. There's no more of us. Maybe he just wanted to say hi. Ok, good. I took deep breaths and then sat down on my bed playing with my hands. My phone suddenly rang making me lightly flinch. I checked the ID and thankfully it was Ayla.

"Hey," I picked up.

"Hey? You mean HELLO GIRL I'M FINALLY BACK!!" she exclaimed.

"Hi Queen! How are you?" I asked once again chuckling.

"Yeah okay, that's better when are we meeting?" She got to the point.

"How about next week?" I asked.

"Next week?!" she exclaimed.

"Yeah I have to settle down first and then I'll get to you" I said.

"Another week?! You really didn't miss me and it shows!" she said sounding upset.

"You know that's not true" I said.

"I have so much to tell you though!" she was whining like a child.

"Next week I promise" I said. I really can't leave the house today.

"All good, see ya then!" she said before hanging up.

After ending the call, I grabbed the bouquet and got out of my room to throw it in the garbage. I went back to my room after my eyes landed on a letter that was on my desk. I got to my desk and grabbed the letter. It was from him. I checked out my room and found many more things that were all from him. I have many others. I feel dumb for reading all the letters from the past again because now I'm getting emotional.

It's hard to believe that he was the one who wrote these. Before leaving, I had no time to clean up my room and also no energy or intentions to throw all of the things he gave me away. I got out of my room once again and went to get a garbage bag. I decided to clean my room and throw out all the things that came from him. I was almost done cleaning and throwing out everything when my eyes landed on...the ring.

The ring he specially made for me. I found myself staring at it for way too long. Back then, I would make sure I had it on all the time. I was afraid to lose it and make him upset. How dumb I was. I was going to throw it as well but somehow I wasn't able to. I really just couldn't let go of it. It's just a ring. It won't hurt if I keep it. I checked out the ring again noting every detail carefully which made me realize it was made of gold. I could sell it online or give it to a jewelry shop in return for some money. That sounds wiser than throwing it out. I'll do that.

I was already wearing a necklace which was a simple golden chain, I took off my necklace and slid the ring through it. This way, I won't forget about it.
