The mysterious assassin aimed the gun at Snake. He glared at her without hesitation. His eyes did not turn away from her, they not even blinked. "Ahab" was ready to embrace his mortality.

She was taking too long to shoot or, at least, it seemed like an eternity to him. Suddenly, a patient –with bandages all over his face– tackled her. They wrestled until the woman overcame the man, which was not a surprise since the patient fought how a normal man would fight. Thus making evident that he hadn't had any sort of training.

They ended up in opposite positions in the ward; the patient began throwing objects at her, including a bottle of alcohol which soaked her all. She just threw her knife to the man's chest, and he then remained immobile. Was he dead? Snake couldn't tell.

Having taken care of the patient, the hit woman approached and throttled a defenseless Snake.

In the edge of the death I heard a calming almost-angelical humming, and just after, the sound of a lighter and the image of that woman burning alive. She flinched and tripped over a medical cart causing a flower pot of Star-of-Bethlehem to fall.

Somehow, and to my surprise, she was standing up until another bottle of alcohol was thrown to her by the man with bandages whom turned out to be alive and well as I did not see trace of blood around his knife wound

Somehow, and to my surprise, she was standing up until another bottle of alcohol was thrown to her by the man with bandages whom turned out to be alive and well as I did not see trace of blood around his knife wound.

The alcohol fanned the flames and caused the assassin to scream in pain and the petals to rise and fly overall the room.

The woman fell from a window nearby while wincing. I was shocked by this; too many terrific things happened in such a short lapsus. Am I in a dream? Is this real? Where am I? Did I go to hell? I questioned just to answer myself No, I'm awake and in war once again. I know it because war is worse than hell. Thereafter, I raised my amputated left limb trying fondly to catch a petal.
