Solid Snake is far and away the single most effective soldier on the planet. When he is tasked with eliminating a threat on one of the most secure facilities on Earth. Which also happens to house some of the most insane criminals on the the planet, Arkham Asylum. He has 72 hours to neutralize a terrorist plot that is somehow tied into Arkham. Infiltration, stealth, leave no trace, standard black ops mission. Any evidence of his or the military's involvement in penetrating Gotham's home for the criminally insane will be denied. Snake is on his own, against the most lethal and psychotic villains to ever walk the streets. (I have lots of ideas, will be popping in with updates periodically, fairly good direction of where the story is headed, totally open to comments or ideas. Being a Solid Snake story, there has to be a cyborg ninja, torture, and a Metal Gear naturally. Feel free to suggest any villains from Arkham that Snake or his buddies should go up against, or any feedback, or to say hi.)

Its been 5 years since SuperMan and his Regime have taken over Remnant. The Insurgency has fallen with The Batman dead. A boy by the name of Brandon Flowers has taken up the responsibility of stopping SuperMan and his Regime with the help of the Diamond Dogs and his friends. Kidnapped at the young age of 8 and forced to live in the heartless city of Tokyo. Anytime he tried to get back to his family, an invisible force controls him and makes him go back. He lived by pick pocketing. Getting enough to get an apple for himself. One day everything changed. Soldiers came in searching everywhere, they found the boy who wasn't their target, they were about to leave until the commander stopped and looked the boy dead in the eyes. "Take him, i have a feeling he will be of great value" the man said, the soldiers saluted and gently picked the boy up. And took him with them. The boy got a good look at their badge. "Oreh"

In my new Versus Series, BATTLE ARENA, I will be pitting fictional characters of my choosing in a hypothetical battle to determine who would come out on top in a no holds barred brawl against one another. The outcomes are my opinions based on research I conduct as well so please feel free to comment your own opinions on who you think would win down below and make any suggestions for matchups you'd like to see me write. For my first episode I will be pitting two of Fiction's most well trained agents in espionage and assassination against one another as Bucky Barnes from Marvel Comics will be going up against Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Franchise.
