"I can't believe how hot it is right now," groans Trevor from the lounge chair next to me.

I check my phone, "112 currently. It's amazing. Makes the pool seem even better."

"Mmmm, you make everything better," says Ryan as he comes back with Jamie and hands Trevor a drink. He takes a seat next to me and looks at the group, "What's the plan today, anyway?"

Jamie gestures vaguely around us, "this. We worked too hard to do anything more than relax."

Ryan and Trevor knock their drinks together with a smile.

"I'm not jealous of you at all," I groan out. "I can't believe you all graduated last week."

Ryan, Sarah, Trevor, and Jamie all graduated within a few days of each other. Josh and I managed to be at all of them, so we've had a lot of bro time with each other lately.

"Hey. Some of us have school in August, too," says Trevor. "Ryan, you ready to be a doctor?"

"Ready as I'll ever be, man," he says, and I take his hand, and he smiles at me. "I'm happy you'll be close; at least Michigan State has a great graduate program."

"Less work than Med school. I'm just happy my Queen got a teaching job lined up," he says and pulls Jamie onto his lap. "The three of us being so close is going to be EPIC."

"Again. I'm not jealous AT All," I say loudly and pull off my shirt. "I'm going to swim. You three talk about how great next year will be."

"Awwww, Baby. Don't be mad," says Ryan as I walk off.

I hear Jamie whisper that my abs look great, but I will not be distracted from my annoyance.

I jump into the pool and enjoy the cool water for a few moments before I feel arms wrap around me. Ryan kisses my neck gently and whispers, "You know we're just excited."

"I know. I'm just annoyed that once again, I'm being left behind for a big life moment. Couldn't you all just do one more year? Is that too much to ask," I say and pull him into a sweet embrace. "You look really hot, by the way."

"Oh, you sweet talker," he says, and I feel him move my legs around his waist. "We'll have a lot of time for that tonight. Don't worry."

"Hey! Get a room," shouts Josh, and I turn to see him and Sarah finally joining us.

"You two finally done in YOUR room?" Shouts Ryan, and he starts carrying me over to the edge of the pool.

Sarah seems to be a little pale but smiles at us both. "You ok?" I ask her.

"I think I'm just dehydrated already. I just need to drink a lot of water," she says, and I nod. Jamie and Trevor walk over, holding hands.

"I'll drink your Long Island then, Sarah. I'll gladly take that one for the team," says Jamie with a huge smile.

Ryan shifts, so I'm turned away from the group, and I hear him clear his throat, "what do we wanna do now that the sleepyheads are up?"

Trevor raises his hand and then smiles at the gestures, "sorry, habit. Let's get brunch and then come back for more pool time."

Sarah smiles, "that sounds great. I'm so hungry."

"Ok. Gay boys out of the pool," shouts Jamie, and I feel Ryan pick me up and push me out of the pool.

"We should go do the roller coaster at New York, New York, after we eat," I say happily, and Trevor nods.

"I just want to eat my weight in pancakes," says Sarah. Josh takes her hand, and the two walk off ahead of us into the casino.
