"Fazal! You're so mean!" I yelled trying to catch him.
"Stop yelling! Classes are still going on!" He yelled back.
"YOU—"
I didn't get to finish my sentence because I crashed into someone's hard chest almost losing my balance but I was caught up by my waist. I looked up and stared into those hazel brown eyes. Aslan. I moved away from him when I realized the position that we were in. Ya Allah, my heart! It's beating so fast!
"You're here? I've been looking for you in the gym. Why are you running around?" he asked as I was trying to catch my breath.
"HAHAHA! You couldn't even catch me loser!" Fazal came back making a fool of me. I swear this guy!
"You—come here while I'm being nice!" I ordered him.
He came to me and I pinched his cheek as hard as I could.
"That's what you get!" I exclaimed.
"Okay sorry sorry!! Please let go!" he begged me to stop and I was enjoying it.
"Damn, why so hard on me?" he asked rubbing his cheek after I let go.
"You get what you deserve" I stated smirking.
"What is this guy doing here?" Aslan suddenly asked in a cold tone.
"We just finished cleaning the field" I said.
"Yeah, and I did a pretty good job" Fazal was bragging about it although I clearly did the most.
"You meant to say—I DID" I said rolling my eyes at him.
Fazal's phone suddenly started ringing as he picked up. He spoke to someone for a few seconds before hanging up.
"I gotta be somewhere, bye guys!" he said before running away.
Damn, he really looks happier and better. I'm so glad for him. Never thought I'd see such a day.
"You really look good with him" Aslan suddenly said in an annoyed tone.
"I'm sorry, what?" I asked not believing what he just said.
"How many times do I have to tell you I don't like seeing you with other guys? and certainly not in this way" he said.
"Are you for real?" I asked folding my arms.
"Does it look like I'm kidding?" he asked.
"Thanks to him I was able to finish my cleaning tasks and now I can go have lunch before next class starts or else I would never be able to finish on time " I explained.
"And that's your reason?" he retorted. Ya Allah!
"You know what? Never mind, I'm leaving" I said before turning and leaving.
How can he not trust me? How can he always get mad over the simplest thing? I got so frustrated. He left with Zahara, did I say something? Did I just assume he was spending time with her for two hours while I was cleaning? No. Then why is he being this way with me?
