I made sure the room was silent before I took a deep breath and took out my song notebook. I turned to a page and just let the words come to me. I started to sing like always. Mum used to sing me and Draco to sleep. I took every emotion and poured it into my voice. I had my eyes closed until I heard someone come down. I froze up when I saw a girl watching me.
"You're an incredible singer,"She complemented. "Thanks. I didn't mean to disturb you,"I told her. "No, your voice is amazing. I'm Angela,"She introduced. "I'm Y/N,"I told her. "Can I join you on the couch?"She asked. I nodded and she took a seat next to me.
"You do know we have a choir here right?"She asked. I laughed before I realized she was serious. "I don't like people staring or loud noises,"I explained. "I think you should try. I could feel you emotions,"She gushed.
Older students started filling in before I could reply. I sighed before going to my dorm followed by Angela.
