that night

"so bubby has what sannie has?" yunho asked

"yeah kinda, it's a little more severe than san. but he's gonna be just fine" hongjoong smiled and rubbed the boys head.

seonghwa, yeosang and wooyoung were in the kitchen cleaning up after everyone's nightly snack. hongjoong and yunho were on the couch watching tv. san was watching before he fell asleep in the love seat. mingi was upstairs sleeping, he felt tired after a long day of emotions. jongho was in his room sleeping too. until he ran downstairs

"where gi?" he asked

"he's sleeping baby, weren't you sleeping?" hongjoong tilted his head

"i had a scary dream" jongho pouted walking to his dad

"and you were gonna ask to cuddle with gi?" jongho nodded and hongjoong picked him up and placed him on his lap

"can i sleep wit' him?" jongho yawned

"we don't wanna wake him up" yunho butted in.

"please" jongho looked into his dads eyes with those big sparkly eyes that no one could say no to

"let's go check on him. see if he's okay with it. okay?" hongjoong sighed before standing up and walking to mingis room

"hey min, can jjong sleep with you" hongjoong whispered as he saw the boy half way asleep, having that he only went up to bed a few minutes ago.

mingi nodded his head and up went jongho with his blankie. hongjoong smiled and watched them get cuddled up before tucking them in.

the boys both kissed hongjoong on the cheek, jongho whispering a soft 'night papa' and mingi mumbling something that you couldn't hear, but hongjoong knew it was a 'goodnight papa'. after saying goodnight, hongjoong walked out of the room, smiling, and went into the hallway, where he was greeted by his husband.

"tuck em in?" seonghwa smiled, hongjoong nodded before pulling seonghwa into a hug. "you okay?" seonghwa asked while he ran his fingers through the younger's hair

"yeah... just tired i think" hongjoong whispered

"let's go shrewd and tuck the boys in, then we can take a bath maybe? and then go to sleep"

hongjoong smiled at his husband, then nodding and walking down stairs to get the kids. it took maybe thirty minutes or so to tuck the kids in, of course doing their night routines and wooyoung didn't want to be alone, so san had to go in there and sleep in jonghos tiny bed. but they were asleep, safe and sound.

seonghwa started up a bath while hongjoong got towels, drinks, clothes, all that.

"red or white whine" hongjoong asked from their bedroom

"red" seonghwa smiled

soon, they both sat in the tub hongjoongs back to seonghwas chest. total relaxation. seonghwa was washing hongjoongs dyed hair, the shorter could've sworn he was in heaven.

"keep doing that and i'll fall asleep in here" hongjoong mumbled, seonghwa laughed softly and started washing the shampoo out of his hair.

after the two washed everything that needed washed, they sat and drank some whine, talking about random things.

"remember when your mom took me suit shopping?" hongjoong smiled

"for our wedding?" seonghwa asked, the shorter nodded "mhm, what'd she do?"

"she took my into a baby store. she kept talking about how your brother and his wife don't want kids, all this" hongjoong laughed "i told her that we would look into adoption after we're married and settled in"

"so that's why she hugged you first when we told her about yunho!" seonghwa gasped

"yeah. it was really nice. your mom reminds me a lot of my mom, before she kicked me out and stuff" hongjoong chuckled as he leaned back on seonghwa

"how so?"

"she was so motherly. obviously. but she would always joke about... everything."

seonghwa kissed hongjoongs shoulder, leaving a trail of kiss up to his neck, jawline, his cheek, and then of course he can't miss the lips

"you remind me a lot of your mom too" hongjoong said, turning back to look seonghwa in the eyes "you such a good dad to my kids, you're an amazing husband. i couldn't ask for anything more in my life" he whispered softly, as tears rolled down both of their cheeks

"you're so amazing hongjoong, you mean so much to me and the kids" seonghwa said

"i love you kim-park seonghwa"

"i love you too kim-park hongjoong"
