"Wanna bet? I can't believe I ever let you put your filthy lips on me, you're a fucking monster Draco Malfoy. " I sneered at him, he began to speak before I cut him off "I don't want to hear you fucking speak Malfoy, you promised me you weren't like him. Did you tell him Malfoy, that you finally got to me? Was your father finally proud of you for once in your life? I bet he was, did it feel good? You are just like your father." I said, I grabbed my book and stormed out of the courtyard

"You are not a monster Draco," I said "You are such an amazing human, even if people don't see it, I do. No matter what you say or what you do, I will always want to be with you."

Draco smiled "I can't talk about it in here" He whispered "too many people"

"I know, when you find a place tell me. I will listen to you, even if it's for two hours" I looked over at the clock, it was almost curfew "I have to go"

He nodded "I know, Madam Pomfrey is going to let me out tomorrow, can you meet me at the black lake?" 

"I'll be there," I squeezed his hand once more before getting up and grabbing my bag 

"Hey Y/N?" He said as I began to walk away, I turned around to look at him "Thank you" He smiled sadly 

"No need to thank me, you're the biggest thanks I could get" I smiled at him

Draco put his head back, smiling a true smile "And you said I was corny" 

I laughed "Goodbye Draco"

"Goodnight Y/N, sleep well"

I walked into my dorm and saw Cho and Luna both sitting on their beds, looking at me.

"Hello my wonderful roommates, how was your night, mine was great, nothing big happened" I smiled and fell backward onto my bed.

"How is Draco," Cho asked

"He's fine, not dead thank merlin" 

"How are you?" Luna said

"I'm great" I smiled "Getting back with someone you are in love with really boosts your mood."

I sat up and saw them both just staring at me "We talked this time, seriously, it's not like last time. We didn't just kiss and make up, we're going to work on it." I said

Luna and Cho just kept staring "Alright what is it?" I said

"You've got the look in your eyes back" Cho smiled

The next day I was sitting at Breakfast, talking with Neville and Spencer, both of which didn't know I was back with Draco.

"Okay, Snape, Dumbledore, and Flitch," Neville said to me

I gagged "Um okay, I guess Shag Dumbledore, Marry Snape, and Kill Flitch?" 

Spencer laughed "You'd shag Dumbledore?"

"More importantly she'd MARRY Snape" Neville fake gagged

"Alright, fuck both of you. This is why I prefer when Luna is here" I groaned and took a bite of my food 

"Actually, it would be more like fuck dumbledore, if we're speaking in Y/N language" Neville laughed 

"Alright I'm full, see you arseholes in Charms" I stood up 

"Booo" Spencer said as I walked out

I walked down the hallway, rifling through my bag before realizing I was supposed to be at the Black Lake in ten minutes, Luna had told me he was getting out after breakfast.

I rushed down to the black lake and thanked merlin that Draco hadn't gotten there before me. I pulled a blanket out of my bag and laid it down since the grass was wet.

Then, I waited...

About ten minutes had passed before Draco had shown up, the first thing he did was laying next to me, scaring the living daylights out of me.

"For fucks sake, where did you come from," I said, my hand on my heart, feeling it beat rapidly underneath my hand. 

He laughed "I forgot you scare easily," I noticed his left arm wasn't covered up, at least with me.

But it didn't scare me this time.

He noticed me looking at it and immediately went to cover it and began apologizing before I stopped him "It's fine, it's why we're here right?" I said

He nodded "Do you want to...explain it?" I asked and he hesitated before nodding and began telling me about what he was going through. 

He was terrified, I was terrified for him. He was a little shit sometimes but he wasn't an assassin.

"He'll hurt my family if I don't do it Y/N, but I...can't do it. I can't kill someone...I just can't" He said shakily

I looked at him before giving him a hug, which he luckily accepted. "I don't understand what you're going through but you can always come to me. I know you are scared babe, but you don't have to do this alone."

"I can't put you at risk," He said, his voice muffled under my shirt

"You won't be. I won't get hurt, I'll do whatever to protect you like how you protect me. I know you have no choice, but I'll be with you, before and after"

He sat up "Really because I know you don't like Voldemort and all that"

"I don't but I love you, and if it takes standing beside you against or...for him...then I'm there. I won't let you go through this alone" I grabbed his left arm softly "Forever and always"

He smiled, "Forever and Always" 

I looked at him, before looking back at the lake "Can we just relax here for a while, the clouds are really pretty today" I laid back and he followed

"Of course, whatever you want"

I yawned as I walked into study hall, tired from the rest of my classes. I found Luna and all my friends and waved over to them. 

I stood next to Neville as we talked about our days 

"Oh by the way, how's Malfoy? Is he doing alright?" Neville asked

"He's doing good, why do you care though, don't you hate him," I said

"Not really, he hasn't bothered me since the end of the fifth year" He replied

I nodded, smiling to myself. I reached over and grabbed my bag before pulling out Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans and setting it on the table "Anyone wants one?" I asked, 

Luna grabbed one and ate it before speaking quietly "It tastes like what stink pellet smells like" She said, and all of us laughed.

I looked behind me and saw Astoria with Draco, but Draco was looking at me.

Astoria looked over at me as well, but not with anger, more with content. We smiled at each other before I turned around 

Maybe everything would be okay.
