Luke watched Greyson silently as she twirled the lightsaber around alone. "You should teach me sometime." Luke smiled at Greyson, who stopped and let the saber fall to her side. "Your tricks and things, I mean. You're good at it. You probably know that um-"
"Please shut up, Skywalker." Greyson interrupted Luke as she turned off the saber and turned around to face the boy. He nodded.
"Uh, I came to check on you. You seemed pretty upset back there." Greyson looked at Luke.
"Did I not just tell you to shut up?" She questioned. Luke laughed.
They stood in silence for a moment before Luke spoke again. "How did you and Han meet?" Greyson sat down on a crate and clipped the lightsaber back onto her belt.
"Mos Eisley Cantina, I was about your age. I guess Han decided he liked me, I guess, and invited me to come with him. I was sick of Tattione and living with a father that wanted nothing to do with me, so I said yes. And every day I'm glad I did." Luke nodded and sat down beside her.
"Why were you sick of Tattione? Don't you ever miss home?" Luke asked Greyson, who laughed.
"Tattione isn't my home. It never was and never will be. That's why one of the reasons I was sick of it. I missed my home and the way things used to be. I was tied down, controlled. Also, it was really hot, and I hate sand. It's irritating and it gets all over the place." Greyson scrunched her nose in distaste. Luke looked over.
"I like sand." He muttered. Greyson snorted.
"You mentioned my father earlier," Luke said abruptly. Greyson nodded. "You knew him." He continued
"Really? I had no idea." Luke ignored Greyson's sarcastic comment.
"How did you know him?" He questioned. Greyson looked over at Luke. "I mean, how did you really know him. I know how you know him." Greyson sighed.
"He was like family. Whenever my dad was busy he would leave me with your father or mother. My dad didn't really know it but anytime he left me with one of them, it really was the both of them, unless your dad was with mine. But your father would play games with me, he didn't care how stupid they were, he was always willing to play. He taught me things about using the Force and lightsaber combat and all that behind my father's back. I'm glad he did though." Greyson was quiet for a moment. "I think he would've been a great father to you."
"Our positions correct, except, no Alderaan."
"What do you mean? Where is it?" Luke asked confused.
"That's what I've been trying to tell you, kid, it ain't there. It's been blown away." Han explained. Greyson looked over at her father, worried, and back out the window.
"What? How?"
"Destroyed by the Empire." Ben commented.
"The entire Starfleet couldn't destroy the whole planet. It'd take a thousand ships with more firepower than I've.." Han stopped talking when the ship started beeping loudly. "There's another ship coming in."
"Maybe they know what happened." Luke offered.
"Ya think so?" Greyson muttered as she looked down at the console. Luke furrowed his eyebrows at the sarcastic comment.
"It's an Imperial Fighter." Obi-Wan said.
"It followed us!"
"It's a short-range, Skywalker."
"There aren't any bases around here. Where did it come from?" Han asked, more rhetorically than literally.
"With our luck, we've probably flown into a base." Greyson remarked.
"Sure is leaving in a big hurry. If they identify us, we're in big trouble." Luke stated.
"Not if I can help it. Chewie jam its transmissions." Han instructed his furry co-pilot.
"It would as well to let it go. It's too far out of range." Ben insisted.
"Not for much longer." Greyson nudged her father.
"A fighter of that size couldn't get this deep into space on its own." Ben noted, slightly concerned.
"He must have gotten lost, been part of a convoy or something." Luke suggested.
"He ain't gonna be around long enough to tell anybody about us." Han said as she tried to get closer to the fighter.
"Look at him. He's heading for that small moon." Luke noticed. Greyson stared at the moon, occasionally glancing at what use to be Alderaan.
"I think I can get him before he gets there. He's almost in range." Han replied to the blonde.
"That's no moon." Ben's eyes went wide when he realized what the fighter had been flying towards the whole time. "It's a space station."
"It's too big to be a space station." Han said with certainty.
"No, Han, that's defiantly a space station. And from the looks of it a deadly one." Greyson said noting the remains of a planet.
"I have a very bad feeling about this." Luke said.
"Turn the ship around." Obi-Wan directed.
"Yeah. I think you're right." Han said quietly. "Full reverse. Chewie lock in the auxiliary power." Chewbacca grunted in response.
"Chewie lock in the auxiliary power!" Han repeated.
"Why are we still moving towards it?" Luke panicked.
"Tractor beam. It's gonna pull us in." Greyson answered.
"Well, there's gotta be something you can do." Luke said snarkily.
"There's nothing I can do, kid. I'm at full power, I'm gonna have to shut down." Han said flipping switches. "They're not gonna get me without a fight."
"You can't win," Ben stated. "But, there are alternatives to fighting."
Greyson sighed as the beam pulled the falcon into the station. She had tried to do everything in her power thus far to avoid the Empire, which was already difficult enough with Han, but having Luke and Ben alongside them, she had a feeling it was going to get much harder. She looked over at Han, who pressed his lips together before turning to the group as a whole.
"They're gonna storm the ship once we've landed. Come on, I know somewhere we can hide." Han got up and led them away.
