TWELFTH NIGHT [ kth | jjk ]

P R O L O G U E

The roaring, windy atmosphere combined with the screams as the gigantic waves of the sea crashed against the ferry, almost toppling it over.

Captain Namjoon pulled Jungeun, who was holding onto a mast for dear-life, to the row-boat and quickly unleashed its ropes.

Thunders exploded, lightning flashed, and the ferry upturned as an enormous wave collided with it.

"NO! Wait, where's Jungkook?!" Jungeun panickedly screamed.

"He was on the other side of the ship!" Namjoon speaks, panicked as well, but a tad-bit more calm than her.

"I can't just leave without him!"

"Jungeun, we need to leave! It'll be really dangerous otherwise! I'm sure he'll be safe!"

Though unwilling, Jungeun hopped into to the tiny row-boat with the Captain and some other passengers as they rowed away from the ferry which was heavily destroyed by the natural forces. While gazing from some distance, Jungeun noticed Jungkook struggling among the agitated waves. She couldn't stand the image of her brother fighting for life and burst into tears.

"Jungkook is there! Namjoon, please save him! We can't let him fucking drown and perhaps d-die there!"

"I'm sorry, the waves are against us! This small row-boat can't go against these turbulent waves!"

"But my brother—"

"I'm sure he will be safe. We' re not too far from the shore. Please understand, we need to get out of the storm immediately!"

Thunders struck again. The small row-boat moved with the strong current and wind velocity towards an unknown direction by itself, gradually leaving the sinking ship behind.

"Please be safe, Jungkook." She mumbled to herself while tearing away the gaze of the sinking ship from her watery eyes.

"Y-you are not Jungkook?! Then, where is he? Tell me, please!"

"Trust me, I don't know, too."

"I heard my name, am I being summoned?"

"You're cheesy as fuck, husbun."
