three words
that made my heart
ache.
why do i feel so strongly
for one girl
that i only just met,
just a few small moments ago?
because she's beautiful?
but this feels better than infatuation.
what then crossed over
her lightly tanned face
was a look of pain.
is she afraid to feel the same?
what could have happened to her
that was so awful
that she wouldn't love again?
then i realized:
i have to fix her.
