Part 1

Karla had just come out of a vision after using her power of predicting the future. Her face was set grimly as she looked at the other Ninjnerds. She softly plopped down on a zabuton (sitting cushion) at the table then pulled up the holographic map of Ninjago City. The map hovered over the table waiting to be used.

"It doesn't look good guys," she said quietly. "His future was jumbled and I couldn't get a clear picture. But I did find out where they are keeping him." She zoomed in on the map and came up close to a tall building near Borg Industries. "Grant Technologies." It made sense of course, Void had been operating out of Grant Tech for years and Alex had told Rae many times that his father was after something he possessed. But he had never told her exactly what it was.

"Oh goodie," Natalie said with a grin. "Melissa Grant, you're going down."

"I've never heard of it," Amaya said. "I'm guessing it's not a good thing."

"Not at all." Raelyn shook her head. "Grant Tech is Borg Industries leading competitor, evil schemes, illegal weapons and all. We've tried to take them out before but we never had enough evidence to bring to the police."

"It must be where this stun gun was made," Taylor said.

"Did you see exactly where they were holding him?" Rae asked Karla.

"No, he could be on any floor," Karla replied, pushing her glasses up the bridge of her nose.

"But he's ok, right?" Raelyn asked.

"Uh, he's alive," Karla replied hesitantly. "But like I said, it doesn't look good."

Raelyn started to panic. "We have to get over there right now. We have to find him." She began walking toward the door. Cassie grabbed her arm.

"You're not thinking straight Rae," Cassie said. "You can't just walk in there, who knows what could happen to you. Then how are you going to help Alex?"

"It's all my fault, it's all my fault," She whispered. She felt like she couldn't breath and she suddenly became lightheaded. Cassie gently pulled her over to the table and made her sit down.

"If we want to help Alex we're going to need a plan," Taylor said.

"I have lots of experience with plans, here's what we're going to do," Amaya said. "Make a plan, execute the plan, throw away the plan."

"Throw away the plan?" Karla laughed. "That makes no sense."

"You sure?" Amaya grinned. "Think about it, nothing ever goes according to plan."

"That's...actually true," Natalie said, crossing her arms. "But we still need a plan."

"I have an idea," Taylor said. He put Grant Technologies' building layout on the screen. "Grant Tech has one hundred floors above ground and more below ground. I assume they're keeping Alex down below. Somehow we need to get down there. They have the best security measures money can buy, so we won't be able to get in there unnoticed. Not trying to sneak in that is."

"Why do I get the feeling I'm not going to like this plan," Natalie frowned.

Taylor shrugged then continued. "That's why we're going to walk right in using the front door."
