I was dancing all night, having the time of my life. Which is in all honesty, relatively embarrassing considering I'm 23 and working 24 hours all by myself. My wavy brunette hair was bouncing along with me, the lights shining brightly on my velvet green dress that was tight against my peach skin.
"One more drink for my friend here." My best friend Abby said with a drunken grin on her face. I immediately got off the dance floor and stood beside her at the bar, watching as the bartender placed the shot glass on the counter.
As I eyed the shot glass that was now in my hand with slight discomfort, I turned to Abby who was already on her second shot. "I really don't think it'd be a good idea for me to even drink one more ounce of this.." It wasn't like I had a lot of alcohol in my system yet, it was just that I had work in the morning and I already know that the hangover is gonna screw me over in the morning.
"Oh come on, you're no fun!" She groaned with puppy dog eyes, strands of her blonde hair getting in her face as she clasped her hands together and held them close to her chest. I rolled my eyes and she already knew the answer, her face immediately lighting up with joy. "Okay fine, just one more. But you're paying!" I grumbled, not being able to hold back the smile on my face as she looked at me with the brightest smile ever. "Finally I got my best friend back! Now let's get back on that dance floor!" She said as she grabbed my hand and dragged me towards the crowd and back into the real party, her tight red dress grabbing a lot of people's attention.
