as i'm putting on my shoes my phone rings. i grab my phone and see it's my mom.

"hellooo" i answer

"hey billie,i was just calling before you went to your classes but you get to be co chair of met gala also you have another photo shoot and interview with british vogue tomorrow" she says

"wait...did you just say met gala?" i ask in confirmation not believing my ears

"yes sweetie" she says

that's big wow...

"wow,thanks for letting me know but isn't my manager supposed to be telling me these things?"

"yeah they are,later on today but i wanted to tell you" she says

"thanks for letting me know mom" i say before pulling my phone away from my ear to check the time

"well i'm going to head to class,love you" i say

"i love you too billie,have a good day" she says before hanging up

i grab my backpack before leaving out of my dorm room. as i'm walking the halls i see sage.

"hey,you!" she shouts as i walk past

i turn around. "what?"

"how's y/n?" she asks

"why? it's none of your business,she's over you" i say

"why would she leave me for you?" she laughs

"maybe cause i'm not a trump supporter" i smile "or maybe it's because i haven't said the n word,actually it might be because i'm not a liar,i don't really know—probably all"

"oh honey,she's not yours...in the end of the day no matter what she always comes running back to me" she says

"really?? well let's see about that" i smirk before turning around and walking away

y/n pov

"do you think she would know if you skipped?" max asks

"nope,we have no classes together" i say

"what if she finds out?"

"she won't even if she does it doesn't matter it's not like she's my mom or something she's just my friend" i say

"so you're telling me making out is what just friends do?"

"yeah lea and i make out all the time,and you know that girl is straighter than a ruler" i say

"it's just that i feel bad for billie cause i know she wants more from you yet you are still calling each other more" he says

"yes she jokes about wanting to date me and shit but i doubt she actually wants to" i say sighing

"dumb ass" he mumbles

"i'm not dumb" i say

"it's obvious billie wants you and you're here acting like she doesn't,like if she liked me i would definitely make a move for it" he says

"whatever" i say before standing up

i begin to walk away down the street. i should call that one girl from the store. i go to contacts and click on the girl contact name.
