Ross is a quiet and often soft-spoken individual. He lacks confidence in himself and his abilities, both as a martial artist and as a ranger. Like his father, Adam, he has a passion for martial arts and a desire to learn and explore beyond himself, with experience in a larger variety of fighting styles than his father. He's a noble person who simply can't resist jumping into help people, putting his own life in great danger for the sake of others.
Due to his quiet nature he is often the target of bullying though he does his best not to let it get to him. Ross has difficulty with words, at least verbally. He passed his final year with his highest grade being in English and he plans to be some kind of creative writer or poet in the future. He's an active member of the Angel Grove Community, from assisting his dad in his dojo, working at the surf spot or volunteering everywhere he can. Due to his experiences with the Jewelite rangers, he's grown to be more confrontational than he used to be. While he's still polite about things, he doesn't just sit around and let things happen if he feels he should say something.

Personality:
Richie is an unforgiving flirt and you can never tell if he's being serious or joking around. He's also an absolute nerd, obsessed with video games and movies. Everything he says, does or wears is usually a reference to something.
He has a little white dog which he found lost outside his house, when he realised it didn't belong to anyone, he asked his father if he could keep it. His dad said "No, I don't want some annoying dog hanging around". Richie kept it, secretly. And he even got a name idea from that comment: Toby.
Richie has a good heart, always willing to listen. He can take charge when he needs to and when you have his loyalty, he will do anything to help you.
Despite being bullied quite heavily for his sexuality he never had any insecurities about it, being loud, proud and open about who he is. He does however possess deep insecurities about other things. The only person he feels willing to expression these insecurities to is Ross, who has been his best friend for a long time.
