Hinata pov, It is now June 21, Hinata's 13 birthday. (the day he gets his marks) 'Ughh I'm so tired- why'd I stay up so late last night, why do people like to even stay up late' (T-T) I thought, I had stayed up until 3 am but then I ended up falling asleep because I don't normally stay up past 1 am. Even though I should sleep more I really don't care :).
W a i t- it's my birthday! Right, when I think that I hear small footsteps running towards me, and right when I look to see who it is Natsu jumps on me.
"Happy birthday Onii-chan!!" "Thanks, Natsu, but why are you up so early?" It was 8 but on a Sunday I personally think it's too early to function.
"Because it's your birthday duhhh, now get ready we have to eat soon" "Ok ok sure, can you get off of me tho?"
Right after I said that she ran off to what I presume is downstairs. I still have to look at my marks, I was apparently born in the morning so it should be there to my knowledge unless mom lied but eh whatever.
When he started getting ready and he's going to look at his mark(s) Ah- of course, I'd have 3 marks, what should I do though- wait-
After taking a second to realize that he has three marks.
OH- i have THREE marks- I- what should i even do- i really wasn't expecting this-.
I start unintentionally pacing my room to figure how first, how im supposed to tell mom and dad and second, how do I even find them and third, does that mean at least one of my soulmates are guys- well i mean they could be all girls but even so that's a low chance.
"SHOYO" mom yelled, oh yeah- i was supposed to be getting ready since its my birthday. "ARE YOU DONE YET, HURRY UP" "I'M COMING MOM ONE SEC" I yell back
I quickly get ready and go downstairs to where my mom, dad and little sister are waiting because we had to eat breakfast. (A/n~ wait people eat breakfast- welp :'))
Once he goes downstairs, they eat breakfast; after that
-Hinata's mom was at the kitchen table while hinata's dad was sitting at the couch (the couch is just a but away from the kitchen so you can hear everything that goes on in the kitchen.)-
I go to where his mom is
"hey okaasan?" "yes shoyo what do you need" his mom responds while putting away dishes
"i uh.." i should tell mom.. I mean she'll hopefully be fine with it, i doubt she wouldn't but still... Ok i should just get this over with TvT
"i got my soulmate marks okaasan..." i heard her put the dish down, im looking at our feets so i see her turn torwards me.
"thats amazing! Wait- marks-?" i hear her say realizing that i have more than one or i just can't speak.
"yeah..i have 3 different marks" "ooo thats g-" she ends up getting cut off by my dad
"what!? Why would you get 3 soulmates! Why not just one, there's a high possibility is have a boy as your soulmate and i do not accept that sh*t"
Oh.. Thats his problem, of course it is
"well either way it doesn't matter, you dont need to find your soulmate there's no reason, look at me and your mom we turned out perfectly fine!?"
Yup, my mom and dad aren't soulmates, they fell in love when they were in highschool and ended up staying together.
My mom's always wanted to find her soulmate but since she fell in love with dad she never got a chance.
I hear my mom saying how it shouldn't matter as long as im happy but dad could care less, he just hates that i could have a soulmate thats a guy.
I leave, my parents argued every once in a while so i knew this would go on for ages so i just go to my room. I dont know what to do but then again I'm only 13- eh whatever.
An hour later
I hear someone knock on my door, sounds like..mom if you ask me, i dont know if it weird but i can differentiate peoples knocks- anyway.
"come in" i say, she's probably going to talk about my soulmates- welp
"hey shoyo, can we talk about earlier" "yeah sure?"
" i just wanted to tell you that you can try and find your soulmates if you'd like, don't listen to your father for now, ill deal with him if something happens"
Oh- that was a bit unexpected but you know its better than i expected
"ok..why though?"
"you'll know eventually, but for now just know you can do whatever, you can date or find your soulmates..butttt can i see your marks?"
"yeah sure! Why not :D"
I showed my mom my three marks, one on my ankle; an earth, one on my chest; a moon, and the last one on my inner wrist; starts.
My mom ends up freaking out about how "cute" the marks look.
We don't do anything else though for my birthday except natsu just bothering me but eh its fine.
